LCS Picks Week 2 Playoffs Summer 2023

The LCS is back for the Summer Playoffs. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds 2023. As a reminder, there is a chance for four teams to go this year, so that fourth spot will be extremely important. Here are the LCS Picks for Week 2 of the 2023 Summer Split Playoffs.

LCS Picks Week 2 Playoffs Summer 2023

TSM vs. DIG

This is a series that many will be assuming that TSM runs away with. But, Jensen, Santorin and Rich may have something to say about that. The vets have been here before and know what it takes to win. On the other side, Hauntzer and WildTurtle are in a similar boat but have not done it as recently. Ultimately this series will be close but TSM look to have the edge talent-wise and showed how strong they can be in the EG series. Look for them to barely take this series.

Prediction: TSM Win 3-2

100T vs. TL

There is no doubt that DoubleLift will be a factor in this series. The problem is that unless Ssumday, Closer and Quid show up, it will not matter. APA took his lumps during the NRG series and should have learned plenty to help him in this one. Team Liquid are the better team and holdoff the upset.

Prediction: TL Win 3-1

C9 vs. EG

Jojopyun is nearly an unstoppable force right now and because of that he has helped to level up the rest of this team. That being said, so is Blaber and his will to win continues to propel what is already a great Cloud9 team. They are beatable and this series will be close but Sheiden will not be able to slowdown Blaber while EMENES handles jojo to keep Cloud9 moving forward.

Prediction: C9 Win 3-2

GG vs. NRG

It was great to see NRG get that series win. They seem to be playing their best at the best time. The problem is that Golden Guardians have been playing that way basically since Spring Playoffs and it is hard to see them stopping here. This team has been winning awards left and right and their best is still better than NRGs. It could be a close series but even a 3-0 isn’t out of the question here for Golden Guardians.

Prediction: GG Win 3-1
