The LCS is back for the Summer with most teams making a few changes. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds 2023. As a reminder, there is a chance for four teams to go this year, so that fourth spot will be extremely important. Here are the LCS Picks for Week 1 of the 2023 Summer Split.

C9 vs. GG
This will be one of the less confident picks of the week. That being said, C9 have won six of the last eight meetings including three on the World Stage. It will be a close game but C9 ultimately come out on top.
TL vs. TSM
Week 1 madness happens in all sports and esports and this is a game that could see that. Odds are that Team Liquid should win as they try to start off strong on their redemption tour.
IMT vs. DIG
A battle of two of the lesser teams in the LCS. People are sleeping on how much of an upgrade Treatz is. Could he be the one to tame Tactical? Maybe not but his team should be the one that comes out on top in this one.
EG vs. NRG
NRG are back and they are facing a very different Evil Geniuses team. With NRG keeping most of their core and arguably upgrading in the bot lane, it is hard not to give them the dub in their first game back in the LCS since 2016.
FLY vs. 100T
With Nukeduck filling in this one feels like a done deal in favor of FlyQuest.
This should not be much of a challenge but it is week 1 and strange things happen in week 1. Even still, C9 win these nine out of 10 times.
The players on TSM are ones who will always put up a fight but FlyQuest are a full weight class above them. FlyQuest come out on top and start the Split 2-0.
This will probably be one of the closest games of the first week. If both teams bring their best this is a coin flip. But because TL have not made any changes, it is hard to pick against them this early on in the Split.
Do NRG start their comeback 2-0? Why yes, yes they do. Immortals may prove to be tougher than people think but NRG have the talent and players that are pretty consistent
If this were the end of last Split it would be a great game worth staying around for. Instead, Golden Guardians are heavily favored and should definitely take this one home.
This one feels like a done deal unless TL are back to their Spring selves where they drop random games to bad teams. Look for TL to win this.
One the games meant to start off week 2 with a banger, this one will now help end week 1 on a positive note. The bot gap should be big here but watch out for Gori. FLY win this one but it is close.
Who will win, Armao or Santorin? Santorin should but what happens when everywhere else loses? Well that means that EG pulls off a big win to round out their week.
At one point this looked like it would be a close game. Now Nukeduck is stepping in and everything that 100T worked on with Quid is kinda washed. NRG should walk out with this one handily.
Unless week 1 madness happens, where bad teams randomly beat good teams because it is the first week of the season, C9 should role here.
