LCS Final Standings And Playoff Bracket Predictions

The LCS 2022 Spring Split is winding down, with super week starting tomorrow. Only Cloud9 and Team Liquid have punched their postseason ticket, leaving four spots up for grabs. 100 Thieves just needs one more win to clinch their spot and are essentially locked into the third seed. FlyQuest is currently in the fourth seed and has a one-game lead over Evil Geniuses, Golden Guardians, and Dignitas who are all tied for fifth. Counter Logic Gaming, Team Solo Mid, and Immortals are all longshots to make the playoffs and need multiple things to go right that are out of their control.

With four teams all within one game of each other for the last three spots, the playoff race is going to be a photo finish. But who will be left out and who will advance?

Missing The Playoffs: TSM, Immortals, CLG, Dignitas

After a disastrous start to the Spring Split, TSM is on a two-game winning streak. Unfortunately, they have found themselves in too deep of a hole. Similar to Immortals, if they lose once this weekend they will be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. With matchups against 100T, CLG, and TL it is very unlikely TSM can pull off a 3-0 weekend.

Immortals are one loss away from being eliminated and with matchups against CLG, FQ, and GG, are likely to finish towards the bottom of the standings. CLG climbed back into the playoff picture after going 2-0 in week six, but followed it up by going 0-2 last week. Two games back of a playoff spot, they will need to go at least 2-1, while multiple teams lose at least two games for a chance to advance.

Dignitas enters this weekend tied with GG and Evil Geniuses for the last two spots. Sadly for Dignitas, they have the hardest super week schedule of the three. They face the top three teams in 100T, TL, and Cloud 9 and could very well end up going 0-3.

Sixth And Fifth Seeds: Golden Guardians, Evil Geniuses

GG snapped a five-game losing streak with impressive wins over FQ and Dignitas this past weekend to enter super week tied for fifth. With games against TL, EG, and Immortals, they are facing an uphill battle. But Pridestalker and Ablazeolive have been heating up, going 10-2-13 and 6-1-15 over their two-game win streak respectively. Due to Dignitas having a touch final weekend, GG will be able to sneak the last spot.

After their impressive Lock-In performance, EG has struggled to find consistency. Yet, they have a favorable final weekend, with matchups against FQ, GG, and CLG. ADC Danny has been one of the best at his position in the landing phase and has been a main source of damage for his team. Amongst ADCs, he’s first in CSPM, second in XPD10, GD10, and third in CSD10. He also leads all ADCs in kills. With matchups against FQ, GG, and CLG, Danny will be a primary focus in what are winnable games for EG.

Fourth And Third Seeds: FlyQuest, 100 Thieves

Midlaner Toucouille is coming off of a monster performance against TL, going 2-0-4 on Veigar. Alongside Josedeodo, the duo has been a driving force for FQ. While they have a tough final weekend, facing off against EG, Immortals, and C9, FQ has themselves in sold position to claim a playoff spot. As long as they go at least 1-2, FQ will be advancing.

Riding a five-game win streak, 100T is peaking at the right time and the reigning LCS champs are finally resembling the dominant team from last year. They will clinch a playoff spot with a win and the third seed with a win and a FlyQuest lost.

Already Clinched: Cloud9, Team Liquid

C9 and TL have been the two most consistent teams in the LCS all season long and are the favorites to represent North America at MSI. C9 holds a one-game lead over TL for first and has remaining games against Dignitas, 100T, and FQ. Where TL has remaining games against GG, Dignitas, and TSM.
