The page has turned to the 2023 Summer and LCS fans everywhere would normally be excited to see where their teams stand. Like all Power Rankings, these LCS Power Rankings will instantly be wrong upon being published. But that is okay because pieces like these are fun thought experiments as the end of the season comes about. 10. Dignitas (Last Week: 10)

A win is a win and Dignitas look like they could pull a few wins off but this team still is not great. It took an EG throw for DIG to come out on top. They are near the bottom in every statistical category and second last in Gold Difference at 15. Dignitas can certainly climb the rankings but Santorin and Jensen are going to have to do a lot more.

9. FlyQuest (Last Week: 2)

Before people lose their minds, FlyQuest are 0-3 while giving Golden Guardians, 100 Thieves and TSM their only wins of the weekend. They are bottom three in nearly every stat and looked like they were lost on the Rift. This team will be fine but as of right now, they are near the bottom of the LCS.

8. 100 Thieves (Last Week: 4)

A win against FlyQuest to start the Split looked great. But then the next two games 100 Thieves combined for only six kills and were clearly missing Quid. Nothing against Nukeduck but even in their win he was barely better than a bot. With Quid joining the team, he will have to be at least relevant damage-wise. Otherwise, teams will continue to focus on Doublelift and the 100T bot lane to suppress any hope 100T have.

7. TSM (Last Week: 8)

Considering how poorly many expected this team to play, TSM looked okay. They got a win off of FlyQuest and played hard against the top two teams in the LCS. Insanity should be named their starter for the rest of the Split but that is neither here nor there. TSM will need to draft a little better and be harder to predict. Luckily a new meta should help them do just that.

6. Immortals (Last Week: 9)

This is a very interesting team. One that will pick for late game and refuses to apologize for it. Their comeback win against NRG was a fun one and they handled business against Dignitas. The biggest issue is that their early game is rough and TL smoked ’em. This week will be a pivotal one as they play teams right in their range. If they can manage another 2-1 weekend then they get to stay around this rank, if not then it is back to the bottom of the barrel.

5. NRG (Last Week: 6)

After two crushing losses, NRG went and took out all their frustrations on 100 Thieves. If not for a major throw, NRG would be sitting pretty at 2-1 and that is even with them getting perfect gamed to start the split. This team should be solid but they will have dud games as well. They will get tested this week as they faceoff against C9 and TL but even splitting with them will do a lot for this teams confidence moving forward.

4. Golden Guardians (Last Week: 3)

Even in their two losses, Golden Guardians played teams close. They gave C9 specifically a run for their money. Gori and River will need to be better for this team to go far and they are one bad week from falling straight to the bottom of the LCS but if they can finish out games, Golden Guardians should be fine.

3. Evil Geniuses (Last Week: 7)

Surprise! Jojopyun was clearly being held back by his teammates last Split. But in all seriousness, he looked very strong. It was nice to see EG play through him more as Armao may be the perfect support jungler to fit that style of play. Teams will adapt but it will be worth watching to see how jojo and company respond. This team could be legit.

2. Team Liquid (Last Week: 5)

This was the Team Liquid everyone wanted to see last Split. Sure they had some issues in their first game against TSM. That being said, they are 3-0. They lead the LCS in Kills, Gold Difference at 15 and have the least amount of deaths while getting first blood in all three games. Sure this could just be a great week for Team Liquid and it will be important to watch for consistency. If they find that, the rest of the LCS will need to be on alert in a very serious way.

1. Cloud9 (Last Week: 1)

The kings continue to be at the top of the hill. Cloud9 were challenged by Golden Guardians but looked extremely strong throughout the week. There is little doubt that the only thing on Cloud9’s mind is a third straight title and a strong Worlds appearance. They have some ways to go before then, but they already look and play like the best team in the LCS.
