10. Immortals (Last Week: 8)

Another split and another disappointment for Immortals fans. It feels as though change is coming to the LCS and this will be one of those teams that will be making changes. Whether that is just centered around players and coaches is a discussion for another day.

9. FlyQuest (Last Week: 10)

FlyQuest swung the fences big time and struckout in a major way. They had a chance if they had beat C9 and 100 Thieves had lost against NRG but the final bit of luck did not go their way. There will be changes to this team in an extensive way and it will be interesting to see who survives.

8. 100 Thieves (Last Week: 7)

They snuck into playoffs and now DoubleLift is dealing with internal bleeding. Not exactly the final week of play that 100 Thieves had in mind. The potential is still there for a run, especially with the aforementioned DoubleLift on the team, but things are certainly not looking good for this squad as they await their opponent from the upper bracket.

7. Dignitas (Last Week: 9)

It was another miserable week for Dignitas but at least they beat 100 Thieves twice. They got the higher seed in the lower bracket and certainly could surprise whoever their opponent is.

6. TSM (Last Week: 6)

The last regular season games did not go TSM’s way as an 0-3 was not something that many had expected from this squad. All of their games were close and that should be at least a little bit of a bright side but otherwise, TSM are looking pretty weak heading into the playoffs.

5. NRG (Last Week: 5)

After taking down Cloud9 everyone was hyped for NRG. Then they lost to 100 Thieves and Immortals somehow. This team has very high highs and very low lows. It is hard to predict what they are going to do which should make them a pretty scary team to face in playoffs. They may not go far but there could be some upsets upcoming.

4. Team Liquid (Last Week: 3)

Losses to both GG and EG are tough. Team Liquid wanted to establish themselves as a team to beat in the playoffs but struggled to do much of anything in the last week outside of taking down a hapless Dignitas squad. This team has the ability to be so much better and fans will be hoping that the last showing for the team was far from the norm.

3. Evil Geniuses (Last Week: 4)

After a bad losing streak, Evil Geniuses have found their stride again with Sheidon. He played aggressively and with purpose which should help Evil Geniuses. That being said he will also likely be a weakness on an otherwise very strong team mainly do to his lack of experience. If he can go most of playoffs without any major issues then Ecil Geniuses are a team to watch out for.

2. Golden Guardians (Last Week: 2)

Golden Guardians had the chance to win outright. Instead, they lost to Cloud9 again. This team has to find a way to take down Cloud9 or hope someone else does it for them in playoffs otherwise the aspirations of winning a championship are zero.

1. Cloud9 (Last Week: 1)

Another week and another strong showing for Cloud9. Sure, they lost to NRG but that team seemingly just has Cloud9’s number. This is why NRG will have to win two series before even have a chance to play against Cloud9. Look for them to have another strong run toward an automatic birth for Worlds and a ticket to Newark, New Jersey for Finals.
