Immortals are not wasting any time in this year’s free agency window. On Monday November 15, Immortals announced the return of top laner Revenge to the 2022 roster. Some rumors hinted at the possibilty that Revenge would be one of two player to be kept from the 2021 team, and that Immortals would be looking to build around their top side of the map.
Revenge impressed early on in the year for Immortals, proving to be a reliable top laner for the team. Revenge managed to solo-kill Alphari in the first match of the year, to the surprise of many LCS fans. The returning top laner struggled towards the end of the summer split, but ultimately did enough to be welcomed back. While the team as a whole failed to put everything together in order to make a playoff run, Revenge looks to improve on his 2021 outing.

While one player stays, another moves onto to new opportunities. Earlier in the day, Immortals revealed that they would be moving on from their ADC Raes for 2022. In Rae’s first stint outside of the OPL, he displayed flashes of greatness but couldn’t consistently come through for Immortals.
Raes enters a highly contested free agency for AD carries. Other big names across the LCS and LEC are looking to find new homes as well. Luckily for Raes, he wouldn’t cost an import slot for any of the LCS teams, making him an good option to add if the team already has two imports.
