Immortals have finally completed their roster for the 2022 LCS season. After bringing back Revenge, Xerxe and Destiny for another round, Immortals went out to into the free agent market in search of their last remaining players. In hopes to push into the top half of league, Immortals made sure to bring in some veteran talent to the team. On Monday November 15, Immortals announced the signing of former TSM mid laner PowerOfEvil for the 2022 season. The signing of WildTurtle and PowerOfEvil will mark the second time the duo have played together on the LCS stage. The two played together on FlyQuest back in 2020, where they helped the team reach the Worlds Group stage. Despite failing to make it out of groups, FlyQuest finished with a 3-3 record in a difficult group that featured DRX and Top Esports.

Immortals have brought back top laner Revenge, jungler Xerxe and support Destiny for another year. The team finished 2021 with a 20-25 overall record. Their record was good enough for 7th overall in the LCS standings, and snuck into the playoffs in the bottom-half of the bracket. After a surprising sweep of Dignitas in the first round, Immortals’ season was brought to close after falling to TSM 3-1.
The latest iteration if the Immortals roster looks to take the next step as a team that has struggled to break apart from the “middle pack” the past two years. PowerOfEvil brings much needed stability in the mid lane, and WildTurtle is a solid player that can find success with all sorts of playstyles.
