Go to the League of Legends Website.
Pick a region and then enter an email that can be easily accessed.
Enter the individual’s birthday. This game is rated T for Teen for make sure that the one signing up is at least 13 years old before signing up or they have a parents permission.
Create a username and password. This one is important because as it says it is not an in-game name. Instead, make it something that is easily remembered but complicated enough to not get hacked. One will be able to make their name that other players will see once they sign in.
Lastly, it is time to download the game. The main option is for windows but Mac has a little link right below it as well. The download is for the game client which will only take a couple of minutes max even on slow internet. Then the game will need some time to download everything to the latest patch. This can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours.
Once this final step is complete, players can go about learning the game. Make sure to look some things up and mute the chat. While the game is made for everyone, new players can receive a lot of criticism and until they feel comfortable with their ability, they should mute everyone due to the toxic nature of some players. Also if one loses badly at first, that is fine. This game takes time to master and one can only do it if they start from the beginning.
