During the Espn Esports Free Agency Live Show, Jacob Wolf announced that Mid Lane, Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer is going to Mid Lane. This trade had Palafox heading to Cloud9 to be their starting Academy Mid Laner. Teams have yet to confirm this.
For Goldenglue this will be an interesting situation. He has shown at times that he can be a starting LCS Mid Laner and then other times, he has struggled. After Cloud9 Academy rolled through much of the 2019 season is not a big surprise to see their players making it up to the LCS. This will be his chance to prove that he deserves the starting role he has been fighting for, for so long. The move also likely means the Froggen is out of at least the starting role. The steam speculated that he could be moving to a streaming roll or could be leaving the team.
