After much speculation as to who would be replacing the loss of Rekkles, Fnatic have officially announced that they have signed Upset. He will be heading over from Origen, now Astralis and will have some big shoes to fill. This is a three-year deal but the money involved with it is not currently known.

🇬🇧 I bet you didn't see that one coming 😆#UpsetSigns— FNATIC (@FNATIC) November 26, 2020
After losing Rekkles the choices for Fnatic at ADC seemed to be between Upset and Crownshot. Many believed that Upset would be their first choice. He has grown to be one of the best ADCs in the LEC and has shown that he can play with some of the best in the world. Now that Fnatic have Upset, their roster is complete.
When taking a look at the Fnatic roster it definitely looks different than years past. Adding Upset and Nisqy at two of the most prominent positions in the current frame of pro League of Legends means that this team may operate in a very different manner. It will be interesting to see how the team changes it’s style or if they ask Upset and Nisqy to mold theirs more for their teammates.
Either way, the biggest question will be whether Fnatic can compete with G2 still? Until the games are played, no one will know for sure but it will be the thing everyone is trying to figure out as 2021 begins.
