During the Espn Esports Free Agency Live Show, Jacob Wolf announced that ExceL are finalizing a buyout of Bot Laner, Patrik “Patrik” Jírů from Origen. Neither team has confirmed the move.
Patrik has been a much talked about Bot Laner since coming up to the LEC. He has shown flashes of greatness at times like during the 2019 Spring Split for example. Then seemingly he disappeared during the Summer Split, which he is prone to doing. The hope for ExceL will be that his time with Origen was one where he grew and learned quite a bit in order to making that next step in consistency. He will likely be replacing free agent Hjarnan and still currently sign Jeskla.
