According to the same sources, this deal has potentially been blocked by 100Thieves as Tenacity is still under contract with the team.
One of the most highly touted prospects in the LCS will be taking their talents to an evil place. According to sources, Tenacity has verbally agreed and will likely be making his way over to Evil Geniuses. This was probably in a buyout from 100 Thieves as they still had him under contract until 2024. The amount for this buyout is not currently known. What is known is that Tenacity has seemingly found a home and his first true starting position in the LCS.

Tenacity has long been regarded as one of the top prospects in the LCS. Since his days in 100 Thieves system, his potential has only increased. So much so that he was considered for a position on the main 100 Thieves team in 2022. He was on their roster but only played in a few games during the Lock In. Then during the Spring Split he was relegated to the bench as Ssumday continued to dominate the league.
This led to Tenacity being sent back to the LCS Academy league where he still shined. While not as great of a season as some may have hoped, he was still very strong in lane and helped 100 Thieves Academy make their way deep into the Summer 2022 Proving Grounds tournament.
Now he will finally get his chance on one of the best young LCS rosters in the league. Evil Geniuses are ripe with talent and Tenacity only adds to that. It will be tough to lose a leader and strong weakside player like Impact but the potential Tenacity has is undeniable. Whether he can live up to it or not, is still to be seen.
As for 100 Thieves, this likely means that Ssumday will be sticking around. Unless they decide to bring in another accomplished top laner to go with the rest of their rumored superstar squad.
For now, fans will have to wait as the LCS offseason continues to heat up and more moves are made.
