In a recent interview with Travis Gafford, Dignitas CEO, Michael Prindiville, officially announced Team Dignitas’ merger with Clutch Gaming. In the interview, Prindiville states that while CG will maintain their current branding for 2019, the team will rebrand in 2020 to Team Diginitas. Furthermore, Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, the current owners Team Dignitas, will lead operational aspects within the LCS.

Dignitas is a storied organization that once housed world champion, Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in and popular streamer, Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana. Prindiville believes that the Houston Rockets’ analytics based play style will help elevate the LCS to the next level.
Lastly, management such as Sebastian Park and individuals within the CG organization will still play an integral role within Dignitas’ future. In a recent interview Park Stated, “I’m incredibly excited that Clutch Gaming will join forces with Dignitas. Dignitas is a legacy brand with deep roots in the LCS, and whose ambition and forward-thinking nature make it deserving of a return to the LCS.”
