Despite previously being reported by Inven Global that Lee “Crown” Min-ho was facing visa issues, the former world champion is confirmed to be in North America. The Korean Mid laner will start for Counter Logic Gaming tomorrow. This is the first weekend of the 2020 League Championship Series Spring Split.

Crown was reportedly stuck in Korea as late as last week when seen still active on his Korean accounts. This led to speculation that Crown was facing visa issues which has plagued many teams in the past. Team Liquid, also in the LCS, might be without their new Jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen due to visa issues. Luckily for CLG, they will be at full power this weekend.

Crown joined CLG after being picked up from Optic Gaming over the off season. He will replace former CLG member, Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage in the Mid lane. There are high expectations for CLG this year. The addition of Crown along with new Support player Andy “Smoothie” Ta has brought new hope that CLG will take a step forward from their third place finish in the 2019 LCS Summer Split.

Counter Logic Gaming kicks off their 2020 season on Saturday against Team Dignitas.
