It has been quite a while since a new League of Legends champion was not only released but actually seen as well. Overnight, Riot Games finally revealed her, most likely due to leakers showing her trailer first. With that, fans will now be wanting to know some of the biggest questions surrounding Naafiri. One of the most important ones is, can Naafiri be Pet in League of Legends? Here is the answer to that question.

Whenever a dog character or even just an NPC is put in a game, people want the ability to tell them just how good of a pup they are. They are people’s best friends for a reason. They are loving, adorable and all of the above.

Then there is Naafiri.

She will be coming to League of Legends as a new assassin champion that is possessed by a deranged dagger. Do not be fooled, Naafiri is a killer. Her appearance makes that very apparent. She has blades surrounding her head ready to dig into the flesh of her targets. Even the rest of her pack have big knife-like objects sticking out of their head.

Keeping all of that in mind, she is a dog and likely loves pets. So can Naafiri be Pet in League of Legends? Luckily a very popular Twitter account called, “Can You Pet the Dog?” exists to answer questions just like this. The answer is, yes. Checkout the Tweet showing this off below.

This looks to be one of the animations attached to her. It will be interesting to see if the other three that normally come with a champion will be cute. More likely is that they will be terrifying like the rest of her model and kit. But at least this one shows Naafiri the love a dog deserves.
