After a lot of different rumors, leaks and sources, Bjergsen has officially joined Team Liquid to be their starting mid laner in 2022. This will be the first time that Bjergsen has been on a different team than TSM in eight years and the first time he will be on a different LCS team. The announcement was made on the Team Liquid Twitter.

There were rumors that Bjergsen was looking to come back and play this coming year. Many assumed that he would be going to TSM, the team he had spent most of the last decade with and almost his entire career. It was then announced by TSM that he was officially looking to come back and that it would not be with them. This came after he did not like the roster, according to Reginald and Parth.
A new chapter. The legacy continued.

Now fans will be looking forward at Bjergsen and Team Liquid. With the rumors that he was wanting to play with a specific player, many suspecting it was CoreJJ, Bjergsen will be pulling a Doublelift and heading to one of TSM’s biggest rivals. With two pieces confirmed and Alphari on the way out, there are questions about TL’s roster that are likely going to be answered soon.
If the rumored roster of Bwipo, Santorin, Bjergsen, Hans Sama and CoreJJ comes together then the LCS will certainly have a favorite moving forward. It may take some time but if this team can mesh then it will be hard to see some of the other rumored rosters truly challenging Team Liquid.
