Publish Date: April 30, 2025

Some of the best fighting games of all time are getting bundled together once again. The Capcom family of games will see eight, that is right, eight games in this new collection. Let’s take a look at if Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is Multiplayer.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Multiplayer

Yes, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is multiplayer.

There will even be online play so that you can challenge your friends.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Release Date

The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Release Date will be on May 15, 2025.

For some of the games in this collection, it will be the first time that they have been brought to modern audiences. What is even crazier is the fact that every single one of these games are at least 20 years old with most of them over 25 years old. There is no doubt that fans, both old and new, will be excited to get their hands on these games.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on Xbox Game Pass

It does not look as if Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be on Xbox Game Pass.

This is a bit of a surprise considering the collection will release on Xbox One and not even modern-day consoles. It will be available on PC so that could be the path for it to be added. Otherwise, without the game releasing on the Xbox Series X|S in the future, this game may be tough to acquire.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Games

As stated above there are eight different games in this collection.

They are:

  • Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2
  • Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Flight 2000 Pro
  • Project Justice
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution

Almost all of these games have seen their fighters in more recent games. But the Power Stone games are the ones that will truly be getting a small revival of sorts with this release.
