The internet cafe distributor model has been much discussed in the sweepstakes scene, and not always in positive terms; but is this bad reputation deserved?
Orion Stars Casino is one of the many sweepstakes casinos that follow this business model, and appears to be better than others, offering a good selection of games and a mobile app. However, the safety concerns raised by some users are not unjustified, which is why in this Orion Stars Casino review we will explore the lights and shadows of this provider.

Bonus offer - Promotions up to each distributor
We have to start this Orion Stars Casino Review by specifying that Orion Stars is first and foremost a software provider; basically they sell their software to distributors, who then sell it to smaller distributors, who finally sell it to individual stores.
In this pyramidal chain, aspects like bonuses are often left to each final distributor, therefore it is not possible to find a bonus or promotion valid for all, nor are there
Orion Stars bonus codes. However, the most common kind of welcome bonus you might find are first deposit matches.
Age 21+. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Not available in AL, CA, CT, DE, ID, IN, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, OK, TN, WA and WV. Additional T&Cs apply.
Usability, look and feel - simple but cluttered website
At first glance, we have to say that Orion Stars Casino’s website doesn’t seem very promising. The homepage looks sketchy and cluttered, with many flashy and confusing animated elements; overall, it seems that the graphics and layout are not exactly areas in which they have invested too many resources.
Under the usability standpoint, things are not much better, but at least the structure of the website has been kept simple, with the important sections displayed at the top of each page. The navigation isn’t the smoothest, with the lack of search bar, or of an actual sitemap.
Mobile use - Orion Stars Casino app
You can play Orion Stars Casino games both from computer and mobile, as they feature an app compatible for Android and iOS. In case of android devices, you can download the app from the Google Play Store, or directly from the Orion Stars website. For iOS users, unfortunately the app isn’t available in the Apple Store, so the only option is to download it from the website.
In the section “How To Download The App”, you will find detailed information on how to download both iOS and Android apps, but before starting playing you need to complete your Orion Stars Casino registration from the page “Player Registration”.
Payments - Options up to the distributors
As we mentioned, Orion Stars Casino operates in an unusual way, selling their software to third parties distributors, and one of the downsides of this decentralized system is the absence of general rules on relevant matters, such as payments.
Orion Stars Casino’s deposits and accepted payment methods ultimately depend on each final distributor, although it seems that the most commonly accepted payment method is Cash App. The same is true also in case of Orion Stars Casino’s withdrawals, even though some distributors also accept PayPal.
Customer support - Decentralized service
From their website, we were unfortunately unable to confirm the existence of a general Orion Stars Casino’s customer service. What we did find was a FAQ section, but not very extensive, with a lot of common topics not covered.
Therefore, in case of trouble you will most likely need to get in touch with the distributor of the software you signed up with. However, since such distributors are mostly middlemen between you and Orion Stars, they might not be knowledgeable about the product and might not be able to help you.
When we ask ourselves if Orion Stars Casino is legit, we must first make a distinction between the software provider and the third parties distributors to whom Orion Stars sells its software. As a software provider, Orion Stars doesn’t need to comply with the sweepstakes casinos’ regulations, because it does not act as a casino per se; therefore, we found no evidence that Orion Stars, as a provider, was not legit.
But if we look at the business partners of Orion Stars, the scenario is different: Orion Stars leases its software to third-party sweeps platforms, but it has no liability on how its product is used, and there is actually no proof that these third parties are legit. On its own website, Orion Stars even rejects any responsibility, saying it has no affiliation with the final distributors, and to “trust these people at your own risk”, which doesn’t sound too reassuring.
Rewards & loyalty program at Orion Stars Casino
The absence of a general welcome bonus was a bit of a disappointment, and on their website there is hardly any mention of promotions, besides the daily bonus wheel. However, on Orion Stars’ Facebook page it’s possible to find updates on promotions for existing customers, and some of the options to get
Orion Stars free credits
are:
Referral bonuses
Raffles
Deposit bonuses
Deposit matches
We also found mention of a VIP program, which should give you access to benefits such as daily discounts and additional bonuses; however, to be eligible you have to pay a fee, and we are talking about $2,000, not peanuts. Honestly, we cannot imagine what this program could offer that would be worth such an investment.
The games are the real aspect in which Orion Stars Casino shines: indeed, the game library of this operator is quite varied, and in the slots section you will find the largest choice, with games such as Fruit Frenzy, President 45, Fortune Gods and many more. They also offer fish games, plus some classics like keno and poker.
Two types of coins at Orion Stars
Like many other
online sweepstakes casinos, this provider has its own Orion Stars Casino sweepstakes, and the coins you can get are of two kinds, Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, with the latter being potentially redeemable for money. However, the substantial absence of a no-deposit welcome bonus defeats the purpose of sweepstakes casinos, forcing players to make a purchase.
Product summary and conclusion
Although the Orion Stars’ titles are interesting, the platform has many drawbacks, last but not least the absence of a structured no-deposit bonus to guarantee every player free access to the games. Add to this the fact that their distribution model is highly vulnerable to misuse by malicious third-party platforms, and it is clear why we believe that there are better and safer options in the sweepstakes casino landscape.
Conclusions on Orion Stars
It is clear from this review of Orion Star Casino that while this provider is not the worst we have ever encountered, but it is definitely far from the best. Although the selection of games is good and varied and the company itself appears legitimate, it is undeniable that Orion Stars' business model lends itself too much to scams and abuses, for which it disclaims any responsibility. This is the main reason why we feel that getting involved with Orion Star Casino could be risky business and we do not feel as though we could recommend it.
Although we didn’t find evidence of Orion Stars unlawfulness, the third-party platforms that use its software might be not regulated; check out our complete review to find out more.
🍀Does Orion Stars offer a welcome bonus?
As many other aspects in Orion Stars, bonuses are also left to the final distributor; we recommend you to check out our article to learn more.
💰Can I win cash on Orion Star?
Orion Stars Sweeps coins are potentially redeemable, but how and to what extent depends on the final software distributor. If you want to learn more, don't miss our full article.
