What is a social casino sign up bonus?
When you join a new social casino, you’ll usually get a free sign-up bonus right off the bat. Most of the time, this includes a bundle of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins you can use straight away to check out the games on the site. In many cases, the bonus is automatically added to your account when you log in for the first time. However, some brands might ask you to enter a
social casino promo code, while others release the bonus once you complete additional steps like verifying your phone number or completing your account profile.
Follow these simple steps to claim a sign-up bonus
The best social casino sites make claiming your sign-up bonus quick and simple, with registration usually taking just a few minutes. While the exact steps can vary from site to site, most top social casinos follow a similar process. Here’s a simple walkthrough to guide you:
- Visit the brand’s website or download the mobile app.
- Select the Sign Up button, usually in the top right corner.
- Fill out the registration form with relevant details.
- Agree to the Terms of Service.
- Click Submit or Create Account.
- Complete any additional verification steps if required.
- Sign in to your new account to claim the bonus.

Additionally, SpinBlitz features a mobile-friendly website, making it easy to navigate the games lobby and play your favorite games on the go. We recommend checking out the live casino section, which features popular titles developed by ICONIC21, Playtech, and Vivo Gaming.
How to use the Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins from your bonus
When you claim a sign-up bonus at
social casinos and sweepstakes casinos, you’ll receive virtual currencies, such as Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Knowing how they are used is essential.
First off, both of these virtual currencies can be used to play a wide variety of games at your chosen platform. However, Gold Coins are used for the sole purpose of entertainment and hold no monetary value, whereas Sweeps Coins winnings can be used to redeem prizes, including cash and gift cards. It’s also important to note that Gold Coins can be purchased directly from the site, unlike Sweeps Coins, which must be obtained exclusively through promotions.
Meet these requirements to redeem your Sweeps Coins
If you want to redeem your Sweeps Coins for
real money social casino
prizes, you’ll need to meet several requirements. The first one is a legal obligation, where all players must verify their location and identity by submitting relevant documents, such as a passport/driver’s license and a recent utility/phone bill or bank statement.
Moreover, each brand sets its own playthrough requirements for Sweeps Coins and minimum redemption thresholds. Here’s how they work at the five social casinos recommended in this guide:

Do social casinos offer any alternative bonuses?
Sign up offers are not the online social casino bonus that you can claim; in fact, they’re just the starting point. Once you settle in as a regular player, you’ll want to keep your Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin balances topped up. That’s where ongoing promotions step in. Here are some examples of the promos you can expect:
Log into your account once every 24 hours to receive free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
Send a referral link to your friends. If they join and meet the bonus terms, you’ll receive free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
✉️ Alternative Mode of Entry (AMoE)
Send a handwritten request by post to receive free Sweeps Coins.
Follow your chosen social casino on social media for the chance to enter giveaways and competitions. Entry is free, although it usually requires you to like, comment, or share a post.
Compete against other players in leaderboard tournaments. Those finishing in the highest positions win a share of the prize pool.
What games can you play with your sign-up offer?
The Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins you receive from your sign-up bonus can be used to play a wide range of games. At the top casinos, you’ll find a mix of slots, live dealer tables, virtual tables, instant win games, scratch cards, bingo games, and many more options. This gives you the ultimate flexibility to pick games that suit your individual style. You’ll also get to mix and match between different software providers, RTP ranges, volatility ratings, themes, and much more.
