Not every sweepstakes casino is available everywhere, and this one is no exception. Before you get too excited about the candy theme and the welcome bonus, you should check whether your state is on the Sweet Sweeps legal states list.
While it is still a relatively young site, as it was founded in 2025, it still has a lot of great features that many players enjoy. It’s available in plenty of US states and will likely be even more widespread in the future. Here we’ll cover what states Sweet Sweeps are legal in and what you can expect from it.

How secure is Sweet Sweeps?
First of all, this is something that every player should ask when contemplating about trying out not just a new sweepstakes casino, but generally any site. So, to answer this right off the bat, it’s a safe platform that comes from a reputable operator.
The operator in question is Inimitable Solutions Limited. You’ll be able to see it clearly mentioned in the site’s footer. That sounds like a small thing, but shady offshore sites almost always bury their ownership details or leave them out entirely. Sweet Sweeps doesn't. It also follows the standard no-purchase-necessary sweepstakes model that keeps the site compliant with US sweepstakes law.
In addition to that, their games are another good sign. The site’s library includes games from providers like Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, and Relax Gaming that have been around for years. They're independently tested and they don't license their games to dodgy operators.
Beyond that, you've got geoblocking for banned states, SSL encryption, a proper terms of service page, and a responsible gaming section. All the usual boxes you'd want checked off. For the full rundown on features, game experience, and customer support, you can check out our complete

This isn’t a regular online casino
Now that you know that Sweet Sweeps is legit as they get, you should know that it isn't a regular online casino. It's a sweepstakes casino, sometimes called a social casino, and that distinction matters a lot.
This means that you don't use real cash to play games. You play using two types of virtual currency, and only one of them unlocks real prizes.
Those virtual currencies are:
- Gold Coins (GC) –
These are just for testing out games and playing just for fun. They cannot be used for anything else, meaning they cannot be redeemed for real cash prizes. You can get them through daily logins and promos, or buy optional GC bundles if you feel like it.
- Sweeps Coins (SC) –
These are the ones that can be redeemed for real prizes once you've met the playthrough and SC redemption requirements. Here's the catch though, you can't buy SC directly. They only come as a free bonus per, like with the welcome bonus, or as a bonus attached to an optional GC purchase.
Not using cash directly is exactly what keeps Sweet Sweeps legal across most of the country. The whole thing runs under promotional sweepstakes rules instead of standard gambling regulations.
Sweet Sweeps legal states in 2026
Alright, the part most of you came here for. What states is Sweet Sweeps legal in right now? It's legal in the majority of US states, which is a pretty wide reach compared to other alternatives.
Rather than list every green-lit state, it's easier to just show where Sweet Sweeps doesn't operate.
Sweet Sweeps is currently restricted in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
If your state is not on this list, you're clear to sign up. Just be aware that Sweet Sweeps uses geolocation software to confirm where you actually are when you log in. That means that you won’t be able to temporarily access it if you’re visiting one of the restricted states. Being a resident of an eligible state isn't enough. You need to physically be there.
More importantly, you must be 18 or older to play. Sweet Sweeps confirms your age during the verification step, which comes before any SC redemption request can go through.
Heads up, state laws keep changing
The list of blocked states can grow or shorten, as US state laws regarding sweepstakes casinos are susceptible to changes. There’s no telling whether or not you will be able to play from one of the states that are not on this list in the future.
On the other hand, some of the states that are on the list may lift the ban on Sweet Sweeps and other similar sites. That’s why it’s always good to keep your ear to the ground.

Welcome offer and first-GC purchase bundles
Since Sweet Sweeps is legal in most US states, chances are you live in one that hasn't banned it.
If so, once you register, you’ll be able to claim a nice
Sweet Sweeps bonus
for new players that includes 7,500 Gold Coins plus 1 Sweeps Coin. You get part of it the moment you sign up, and the rest shows up once you confirm your email address.
After that, there are two optional first-GC purchase deals you can grab if you want more. Buying GC bundles is never required, but here's what's on offer:
- Cotton Start:
10,000 GC + 7.5 free SC for $4.99 (150% bonus)
- Choco Boom:
50,000 GC + 40 free SC for $19.99 (200% bonus)
However, you won’t be able to claim both. Sweet Sweeps has mentioned more bundles are coming down the road, but that's the current lineup.

How prize redemptions actually work
This is where Sweet Sweeps does better than most of its competition. The minimum SC redemption threshold is 60 SC. Most sweepstakes casinos set theirs at 100 SC, so you can send through a request a bit sooner here.
A few rules worth knowing though:
🎮 Playthrough Requirements
Playthrough depends on where the SC came from. Non-GC purchase bonuses (welcome SC, daily logins, referrals) require a 2x playthrough. SC that comes bundled with a GC purchase only needs 1x.
KYC verification is required before the first prize redemption. You submit a photo ID and proof of address, and it's usually sorted within minutes.
💸 Daily Redemption Limits
Daily cap is 5,000 SC across all your SC redemption requests. Each individual request tops out at 999 SC.
⏳ Redemption Request Frequency
You can only send one SC redemption request every 24 hours.

Sweet Sweeps’s pros and cons
It has a lot of things going for it and will only improve. It’s worth remembering that it’s not even a year old. That said, here’s what we do and don’t like:
Pros and Cons
- Low 60 SC redemption minimum
- Safe to play
- Legal in most US states
- No dedicated mobile app yet
Sweet Sweeps can be accessed from almost any US state in 2026
Sweet Sweeps covers the bulk of the US right now, and if your state is on the eligible list, there's not a whole lot standing in your way. More importantly, don’t even think about playing if you’re under 18. Other than that, the geolocation check, and the 2x playthrough on bonus SC are the main things to remember.
Aside from that, Sweet Sweeps only works with reputable game providers, so you’ll find plenty of great games. It has a playful theme that is really unique, but it’s not to everyone's taste. While there isn’t a dedicated app, the low 60 SC prize redemption threshold makes up for it.
If your state isn't on the excluded list above, click the banners on this page to sign up and claim your welcome bonus.
