The unique way Sweet Sweeps Casino operates
When you see a website that offers casino-style games, you automatically assume the pattern is; depositing funds to play these games, winning more money, and withdrawing your winnings, right? Well you see, sweepstakes casinos like Sweet Sweeps don't operate like your regular online casino.
Sure, Sweet Sweeps does have casino-style games that you can play. However, things here follow a different pattern. In the place of real money, sweeps sites use virtual currencies known as Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins that you can use to play games. You can also redeem Sweeps Coins for cash prizes (we'll get to this in a bit). This also means you won't find any
Sweet Sweeps no-deposit bonuses
instead you can claim a welcome offer which we'll explain more about later.
If this is all new to you, don't worry. Let's go back to square one and explain how these virtual currencies work.
Gold Coins (GC)
Gold Coins are used to play games at Sweet Sweeps (as well as other sweeps casinos) just for fun. Now, there's this policy that Sweet Sweeps has plastered all over its site; “No purchase required.” This means that this brand mainly gives its players free Gold Coins through Sweet Sweeps Casino no-purchase bonuses. But, if you'd prefer more GC than what's offered, this website has GC packages that you can purchase. But, this is totally optional.
Sweeps Coins (SC)
Sweeps Coins are also meant for playing games at this and other sweepstakes casinos. However, unlike Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins are completely free. You'll mainly receive them through bonuses. Also, when you purchase a Gold Coin package, you'll get some free SC as part of the bundle.
Remember we said you can redeem SC for prizes like cash prizes at Sweet Sweeps? Well, you can only do so when you meet some Terms and Conditions. These include:
- Using your Sweeps Coins to play your favorite casino-style games at least once to fulfill the site's 1x playthrough requirement
- Having at least 60 eligible SC before you can make a redemption request
- Fully verifying your identity by successfully completing the KYC (Know Your Customer) process on this website
The legality of Sweet Sweeps in the US
Perhaps you may already be aware of how strict the state gambling laws across the US are and will continue to be. The way
Sweet Sweeps Casino app
(and other sweeps casinos) operates, has made it legal in most US states, even those that are still restricting online casino gambling. Currently, Sweet Sweeps is legal in every US state except California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
Just for those who missed it, the unique sweepstakes casino operations we're talking about are:
- Using virtual currencies instead of real money for gameplay
- Players redeeming Sweeps Coins for prizes instead directly winning real money
- Players not necessarily having to purchase Gold Coin packages in order to play games but instead, mostly receiving free GC and SC through bonus offers
