How to play Baccarat at Stake

Check out this step-by-step Stake.com Baccarat guide to see how it’s done.

Open up your Stake account and use code TGHSTAKE to activate an exclusive deal offering 10% rakeback and 200% deposit match bonus of up to $1,000.
Hit Baccarat in the “Table Games” category.
The goal is simple: back the highest hand that is closest to 9. You can choose your own or the Banker’s, or else opt for a Tie.
Choose the amount you want to play with and stake on the hand you think will win.
Tap the green play button. The dealer will place two hands on the table, with cards dealt at face value.
If either the player or the banker has an 8 or 9, this is a natural win and no more cards are dealt.
If a hand is above 9, the score reverts to zero and a new card is drawn. Whichever hand is highest after this wins.

This is a very basic breakdown of how to play Baccarat, so it's worth getting to know how the game works in greater depth before heading to the Stake online casino. But... if you ever have trouble accessing the site while trying to play some Baccarat, you should go check out our Stake mirror guide for other ways to reach Stake.com.

Stake Baccarat tips and tricks

Looking to become a better Baccarat player? While the game is predominantly about chance, there are some ways to build a strategy and enjoy a more engaging and exciting gameplay experience at the Stake online casino. The experts have provided a few tips and tricks for you to consider.

Be mindful of the house edge

The house edge is something to consider when playing Baccarat and may influence your strategy. In numbers terms, the Banker is more likely to win with a house edge of 1.06%, while the player’s hand has an edge of 1.24%. It’s something worth considering as you get started with the game.

Research Stake Baccarat strategies

A strategy brings no guarantees when playing Stake Baccarat, but you may wish to research systems like D’Alembert, Fibonacci, Paroli, and Labouchere. If anything, learning these Baccarat strategies is a cool way to get more immersed in the game – and impress your friends!

Play different versions of Baccarat

As with other games, including Stake Roulette, there are several different variations of Baccarat, so you’re not tied to a single generic version. Stake Originals Baccarat is just one of the Baccarat games you can play on Stake, so don’t be afraid to explore different titles to find out what suits your play style.
