How everything works at SplashCoins casino
SplashCoins is a fairly new sweepstakes casino, having launched in mid 2025. It’s a great site for playing slots, with a library of 100+ slot games to browse through. To get started, you only need to register a new account using a valid email address. Being a sweepstakes casino, SplashCoins does not require you to deposit any money to play. Instead, you use virtual currencies and any winnings shall also be paid back in virtual currencies.
There are two types of virtual currencies offered on the site: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). If you’re unfamiliar with how virtual currencies work in sweepstakes casinos, don’t fret. Here’s everything you need to know about GC and SC at SplashCoins:
Gold Coins (GC)
Gold Coins are the main virtual currency at SplashCoins. They are strictly for gameplay only and cannot be redeemed for real cash prizes. They usually come in bundles of thousands, so you never have to worry about running out. You acquire GC through bonuses, such as the welcome bonus, and other promotional offers as you go along. When you wager GC and win, you will receive more GC. SplashCoins also has GC bundles for purchase, but this is purely optional. You can purchase GC from as low as $1.99, but we found that buying additional GC is not necessary and does not enhance your chances of winning.
Sweeps Coins (SC)
Sweeps Coins are slightly different from Gold Coins because you can redeem them for real cash prizes as long as you meet the minimum redemption and playthrough requirements. SplashCoins allows you to redeem a minimum of 100 SC that you’ve played through at least once. Note that SC are typically fewer than GC, and this is by design. They are given as part of the promotional offers on the site, including the welcome bonus and other ongoing offers. SC cannot be purchased directly, and are only included in GC purchase bundles as a freebie.
With that out of the way, let’s dive into how to acquire Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins at SplashCoins.

The welcome bonus at SplashCoins gives you 150,000 GC and 2 SC, and you only need to sign up and verify your account to claim it. This is one of the most generous offers we’ve encountered at a sweepstakes casino. With 150,000 GC, you can start playing any of their slots right from the very first day. Needless to say, SplashCoins only allows one account per player.

to claim this bonus. You simply need to log in and play.
A common method of acquiring additional SC at sweepstakes casinos is by mailing requests to the casino requesting for SC. At SplashCoins, you can get up to 2 free SC for each handwritten mail-in request you place. Check out the Alternative Mode of Entry (AMoE) page on their site for specific mailing details.
SplashCoins has a lucrative 7-tiered VIP program that allows players to collect loyalty points while playing, and unlock additional perks such as exclusive GC and SC bonuses, live chat support, and faster SC redemption.
We found tons of SC giveaways on SplashCoins social media pages like Facebook and Instagram which they update frequently. You can check out these pages regularly to take advantage of these kinds of promos.

How to redeem Sweeps Coins at SplashCoins
One of the main perks of playing at a sweepstakes casino is the ability to redeem Sweeps Coins for real cash prizes without making any deposit upfront. At SplashCoins, you can redeem your SC any time after signing up and verifying your account, provided you meet the following minimum requirements:
A minimum of 100 SC
First, you have to collect at least 100 SC to qualify for redemption. This is the minimum number of SC you can redeem at SplashCoins. With a minimum of 100 SC, you can redeem a cash prize of at least $100. Sadly, we found that SplashCoins does not currently allow players to redeem lower amounts of SC for gift cards.
1x playthrough requirement
You can only redeem SC at SplashCoins after you’ve wagered them at least once. It’s easy to switch between GC and SC play mode on the site, using a toggle that’s conveniently placed on the landing page of each slot game. Playing in SC mode allows you to meet the 1x playthrough requirement after which you can redeem a minimum of 100 SC.
KYC verification
If you haven’t already verified your account, you will need to do so before you can redeem SC for real cash prizes. This will entail uploading a government issued ID for proof of legal age (18+ years), and a valid address for proof of residence in a SplashCoins legal state. We found that it only takes a couple of minutes to complete this step, and SplashCoins will approve your redemption request as soon as they have confirmed the validity of your uploaded KYC documents.
Once these conditions are met, you can initiate redemption by following these steps:
-
Locate the redeem icon on your player’s account and tap on it.
-
Input the number of SC you would like to redeem. The minimum number is 100 SC.
-
Provide your preferred redemption option. There are multiple options available such as Visa, Mastercard, ACH bank transfer and Skrill.
-
Verify your details including name, address and payment method.
