Understanding Gold Coins vs Sweeps Coins at SpinQuest
As you’re probably aware, SpinQuest uses two virtual currencies: Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. You can use both to play different casino-style games, but they differ in terms of cash prize redemptions.
First off, Gold Coins are for fun and to play casino-style games with no strings attached. You get a generous amount of Gold Coins from the sign-up offer, and you can use them to explore different titles on the platform. However, you cannot convert them or any associated winnings into cash prizes.
On the other hand, Sweeps Coins are promotional virtual currencies. You can also use them to play your preferred games. But potential SC winnings can later be redeemed for cash prizes. Please note that there are a few requirements to ensure a smooth redemption process:
- 3x playthrough:
Play through your bonus SC at least three times on games. This action converts them to eligible SC.
- Minimum eligible SC balance: Accrue at least 50 eligible SC to qualify for a cash prize redemption.
- KYC (Know Your Customer) verification:
You are required to verify your identity in accordance with SpinQuest’s Terms and Conditions. This involves uploading your government-approved ID and submitting a selfie.
We often see questions like “Can you win real money on SpinQuest?” The answer is no, since the platform operates under the US sweepstakes model. However, you can obtain cash prizes via SC, provided you meet the requirements we just discussed.

In addition to the generous welcome bonus, we found several promotions to keep you engaged on the site. Here are a few notable ones we enjoyed:
Each day you log into your SpinQuest account, you can claim 10,000 GC + 1 SC automatically. This deal is available every 24 hours. All you have to do is stay consistent, and you can end up claiming 70,000 GC and 7 SC after a week of logging in.
This is another
SpinQuest existing player bonus
that lets you receive 5 free Sweeps Coins. All you have to do is send a handwritten mail to the platform’s address (113 West G ST #436, San Diego, California, 92101). The steps involved are lengthy but worth it, especially if the operator approves your request. Here’s how to go about it:
- Get one envelope and one Request Card
- On the front of the envelope, handwrite in ink:
- Your return address
- “Sweep Coins”
- Recipient: 113 West G ST #436, San Diego, California, 92101
- On one side of the Request Card, neatly handwrite (use ink):
- Your full name exactly as it appears on your government ID
- Your username
- The email address registered to your account
- The word CODE: followed by the unique postcard code from your SpinQuest account
- Your registered residential (return) address
- Add this exact sentence to the Request Card (do not change it):
“I wish to receive Sweep Coins to participate in Promotional Play. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Company's Terms and Conditions and Official Sweepstakes Rules.”
- Put the Request Card into the envelope and seal it.
We didn’t find a limit on the number of mail-in requests you can send. Just ensure you send 1 request at a time (mailing multiple requests will be rejected). In simple terms, don’t send a request until the previous one has been approved.
SpinQuest lets you invite your friends to its platform via your unique referral link. You’ll receive a commission based on the amount of SC played within a specified period. We didn’t find many details about the referral rewards, but if your referral continues playing at SpinQuest, you can obtain a commission regularly.
Interestingly, we found several time-bound promotions that can get you extra virtual currencies. We recommend checking the sweepstakes brand’s promotions for current deals.
