SpinQuest may be a newer name in the US sweepstakes casino space, but it is gaining more attention than some existing brands. That's why it wasn't shocking when we noticed some people asking, "Can you win real money on SpinQuest?"
It's important to clarify that sweepstakes gaming sites do not operate in the same way as the traditional ones that require a commitment. That means the casino-style games at SpinQuest are available to you for free. However, there is an option to redeem SC for prizes and that is what we’re going to explain to you in this article.

Is SpinQuest real money gaming possible?
SpinQuest real money gaming is not possible. When you register on the platform, you're signing up to play games for the fun of it. SpinQuest’s main purpose is to serve as a safe option for players who are residents in states where they cannot legally access standard online casinos. Even in those states, the only way you can play games as a user is to claim bonuses and promotions, which will then give you virtual currencies.
Like every other social gaming platform, this site uses a dual virtual currency system with Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. These two cannot be swapped for each other and hold no external value. Still, they are just as different as they are similar. Here is how they work:
| Gold Coins (GC) | Sweeps Coins (SC) |
| Used for entertainment only on the platform | Useful for entertainment and promotional play games |
| On-site purchase is possible | Can’t be purchased |
| Available through bonuses and promotions | Provided only through promotions and bonuses |
| No redemption | Supports redemption after 1x playthrough and other requirements |

Playing games on SpinQuest
The next thing on your mind would be, when you play games with virtual currencies like GC and have successful rounds, do you win real money on SpinQuest? Once again, the obvious answer is no. When you play a game like
SpinQuest Bubble Craps
or anything else from the lobby with GC, you get back GC if you win. The same happens in SC mode, where you get more when you win rounds.
What matters most when it comes to playing games is understanding which of these virtual currencies you should use to meet the requirements for cash prize redemptions. From the table, you can already see that only Sweeps Coins are supported for such conversions. Let's see how to get as many as possible and review the terms and conditions.
How to get SC for cash prize redemption on SpinQuest
To get Sweeps Coins at SpinQuest, you have to claim promotions that include them. This obviously starts with the welcome offer, and to get it, you will need to set up an account following these simple steps:
-
Click on the link attached to the banner on this page
-
Look to the top right corner of your screen and tap on sign up
-
Fill out the form on display with all the requested details, such as your first and last names, email address, and where you reside.
-
Verify your email and complete the registration process to get your sign-up bonus.
With the sign-up bonus, you will be getting a total of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins. As you can see from the process, neither a bonus code nor an initial purchase is required. You should also keep in mind that you cannot redeem fewer than 50 Sweeps Coins. That means you need to continue claiming promotions to gather enough SC to cover the playthrough and eventually convert to cash prizes. Now that you already know how the

works, these are the subsequent promotions that you can unlock to get more Sweeps Coins.

These are three other ways we found to get SC on the platform:
- Daily login bonus:
Every day from the day that you register on SpinQuest, you have a chance to get more virtual currency just for logging in within 24 hours. They will provide you with a total of 10,000 Gold Coins and one Sweeps Coin when you sign in. As with the sign-up bonus, you don't even need a promo code here, and there is no requirement that you must play a game to get the free virtual currencies. This promotion is designed to help you maintain a streak, so make sure to check in every day, even if it is only for a few seconds; just open the app and watch your balance increase.
- GC purchase promo:
It is already boldly written on the SpinQuest site that Gold Coin purchases are not necessary, so you can easily skip this one. Still, if you choose to top up your Gold Coins balance in this way, you will be getting free Sweeps Coins as the platform’s way of saying thank you for your purchase. For as little as $10, you can get 300,000 Gold Coins and 30 free Sweeps Coins. This deal is already discounted, and you do not need to use a coupon to activate it.
- Mail-in request: If you read through the comments on forums or you follow SpinQuest on social media, you’ve probably seen people talk about this way of getting Sweeps Coins. The mail-in request, also called the "alternative method of entry," is when you send the owners of the platform handwritten requests for free Sweeps Coins. There are very specific requirements that you need to follow for your request to be considered, and once you get it right, they will send you a total of 5 SC.

How cash prize redemption works at SpinQuest
If you are wondering, "How does Spinquest work
with regards to redemption?" there are a few things to consider. These are the minimum threshold, playthrough requirement, redemption processing time, KYC, and supported methods.
🪙 Minimum Threshold and Playthrough
We like that SpinQuest has a minimum of 50 SC requirement for redemption. However, even if you have gathered 50 SC from promotions or received them as complimentary gifts when purchasing Gold Coin packages, you must still use them on games before you can request real-world prizes.
Every Sweep Coin you receive as a gift from GC purchases must be played with once. Those that you get from promotions will have to follow the 3x playthrough requirement. Of course, this double playthrough may feel unfamiliar, but SpinQuest is not the only sweepstakes platform that we have found to operate with this system.
KYC is mandatory, and the sooner you finish it, the sooner you can redeem eligible SC winnings for prizes. For this procedure, you're going to need a valid means of identification, such as a driver's license or an international passport. You'll also need proof of address, which ideally should be a utility bill no older than three months, but you can use a recent lease agreement in its place.
Once you have uploaded clear images or files of these documents, you have to wait a few hours. The team can now process and confirm that you are indeed a real player who resides in one of the states where they legally operate. Then they can proceed to process your prize redemption and ensure that it gets to you in good time.
Processing Time and Supported Redemption Methods ⏱️
There is no traditional
SpinQuest payout, rather the time it takes to process cash prizes, is 3 working days. The main method you can use to receive your cash prizes is a bank transfer. Ensure that when you're filling in the details, you do not miss a single digit or provide any wrong information. Such errors, no matter how tiny, would increase the wait time as you struggle to verify and make corrections.
Closing off— SpinQuest is not a real money site, but redemptions are possible
The chance to redeem eligible SC winnings for cash prizes is obviously an advantage for players at SpinQuest. While there is no real money gambling on the site, SpinQuest works on a dual virtual currency setup with Gold Coins to play just for fun or Sweeps Coins to play in promotional mode for a chance to redeem SC for real prizes.
As long as you fully understand the associated terms and conditions, you should be able to put in your first prize redemption request with ease. Nothing is stopping you from taking the first step toward accumulating the right amount of Sweeps Coins. Click on the link above right now to get started with 100,000 Gold Coins and two Sweeps Coins.
