PICKEM is available across most of the US and operates under a sweepstakes model. You play for free with virtual currencies called Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). There are no mandatory PICKEM Social Casino real-money GC purchases required.
So once you create an account, you’ll receive 50,000 GC + 1 SC, with which you can enjoy the available games. The operator offers over 1500 titles, including Vegas-style slots and table games. In this review, we’ll explain the full details about how the PICKEM Casino sweepstakes model works. We’ll also look into other free-to-claim promos besides the welcome bonus.
How PICKEM Social Casino works
For anyone worried about how much PICKEM Casino real money you’ll need for gameplay, the answer is none. This operator is unlike the traditional casinos you may be used to. PICKEM is a mobile-first sweepstakes casino available on iOS and Android, offering 1500+ games. As such, you won’t find the deposit buttons here. You also can’t withdraw any prizes won from a slot or table game round because no real money is involved.
Instead, the platform uses a sweepstakes model built around two virtual currencies: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). The Gold Coins are strictly for entertainment gameplay and don’t have any monetary value. You can receive GC by winning tournaments and through bonuses. You also have the option of buying a GC bundle, although these are not mandatory for gameplay.
Besides GC, you can also play with Sweeps Coins. These are the promotional currency on the platform, which you can only claim for free through bonuses. In other words, you don’t have the option to purchase SC. Also, the good thing about it is that you can redeem your SC for cash and gift prizes. Before you do that though, you must meet the stipulated playthrough requirements.
Some bonuses you can claim that give virtual currency on PICKEM
As a new player on PICKEM, there are a couple of bonus offers you can claim. We’ve detailed some of these below as experienced in our review. Before that, here’s a table you can scan through to know what each offer gives you:
| Bonus type | What you get |
| Signup offer | |
| First-GC purchase bonus | |
| Automatic GC refill | 1,000 GC |
| Daily login rewards | Begins with 1,500 GC on day one and increases to 15,000 GC + 0.3 SC on day seven |
Welcome offer
Earlier on, we mentioned that the operator welcomes its new users with 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin. These don’t require a GC purchase or any
PICKEM Social Casino promo code. All you have to do is sign up, verify your profile, and PICKEM credits your balance with the virtual currencies to enjoy casino-style games for free.
Optional first GC purchase bonus
On top of the welcome bonus, PICKEM runs a first-GC purchase promotion as well. This is available for when you decide to make your first optional purchase of GC bundles. So while there aren’t any PICKEM Social Casino real-money promos, this bonus gives up to 125% extra on the package you buy. Our research showed that the sweepstakes casino offers three different bundles for this bonus. The largest optional GC purchase is $44.99, and could get you up to 750,000 GC + 75 SC, which is more than we’ve received on other platforms.
Automatic GC refill
If your Gold Coin balance hits zero, you’ll automatically receive a 1,000 GC refill. Thanks to this, you don’t have to take extremely long pauses between sessions just because you’re trying to conserve your balance.
Daily login streak rewards
Another
PICKEM Social Casino no purchase bonus
we came across is the daily login offer. By signing in to your account every 24 hours, you can claim the virtual currency bonus for the day. The rewards start at 1,500 GC on day one and build up to 15,000 GC + 0.3 SC after day seven.
After claiming free virtual currencies, what’s next?
Once you’ve claimed the bonuses, starting with the welcome offer, you can begin to explore the game library. Looking through the available games, we saw that PICKEM has over 1,500 casino-style titles, including exclusive originals. These titles are from reputable developers in this industry, such as BGaming, Netgaming, Gamezix, Novomatic, Hacksaw Gaming, and Penguin King. So with the Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins you’ve received, you can play some interesting titles in any of the following categories.
However, keep in mind that you can only use GC to play games in standard mode. As for SC, you can switch to promotional sweepstakes gameplay for a chance to redeem eligible SC for prizes. We’ll talk more about Sweeps Coins redemption soon enough.
Slot Games
PICKEM Social Casino slots
form the largest section of the library, featuring high-volatility video slots, jackpot games, and classic fruit slot machines. Here, you’ll come across titles like Gold Rush: Johnny Cash, MoneyFest, Triple 7s, Black Wolf 2, and Safari Stampede.
Arcade/Instant win games
These are fast-paced games that deliver quick sessions and are perfect for short play. Common categories here include scratch cards, crash games, and instant-win titles like Keno, Plinko, and Winter Fishing Club to offer quite an interesting experience.
Live dealer games
For a more immersive experience, PICKEM also features live dealer tables streamed in real time. We found popular titles like Live Blackjack, Royal Roulette, and VIP Baccarat available.

How SC redemption works at PICKEM Casino
Since this is not a traditional casino, you can’t play or withdraw a direct PICKEM Social Casino real-money prize. However, you still have a chance to redeem SC for cash prizes. You only have to meet the operator’s requirements and must have used your Sweeps Coins balance to play any of the available games at least once. Once that’s out of the way, you’ll become eligible.
In addition to other requirements, PICKEM requires you to have a balance of at least 100 redeemable SC. You also must make sure your account is KYC verified, which we recommend completing at signup. After that, you can submit your redemption request, and PICKEM will process it via methods like Mastercard and Visa.
