Pros and cons of the Modo.us referral bonus

- Stars for making optional GC purchases
- Your friends also get a bonus
- Plenty of ongoing promotions
- Your reward depends on your referrals' progress
How does Modo.us work?
At its core, Modo.us is a sweepstakes casino. This means you can play all the
Modo.us games
you find for free, without spending real money. Modo.us will credit your wallet with virtual currencies that you can use to play these games through various promotions. You'll get Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC), which allow you to unlock different game modes.
The Gold Coins (GC), trigger a free play mode, where you can only play the games on the site. You can get these Gold Coins through promotions, or make an optional GC purchase to get more.
Sweeps Coins (SC) unlock a promotional play mode, where you can play games for SC winnings. These SC winnings can add up, and later, you can choose to redeem your SC for cash prizes. You can only get SC through promotions on the sweepstakes casino, so take note.
When trying to get more GC or SC to play games, that's when the Modo.us referral bonus becomes important. The referral bonus is one of the few promotions that gives you a means to get more GC or SC on the
Modo.us app.

What is the Modo.us referral bonus?
Referral bonuses at sweepstakes casinos are simply offers that reward you for inviting your friends. The Modo.us Casino referral bonus is the same, but it has some unique features we'll talk about in a bit. To be eligible for any referral bonus, you must first invite a friend.
So, how does Modo.us determine your referrals? Easy, you get them to register using your unique Modo.us referral code or link. To do this, simply share the link with an interested friend and have them click it when they decide to set up an account. This automatically registers the new sign-up to your account, but it doesn't mean you get a referral bonus instantly. There is still more to the process.
To start getting your referral rewards, these two things need to happen:
-
Your friend or referral must make a purchase of $20 or more on Modo.us.
-
Your friend needs to hit a new level in the Modo Ranks.
What you get out of the Modo.us referral bonus
We're sure you want to know what the Modo Ranks are all about, right? Don't worry, we'll talk about that, but here is a quick breakdown of the rewards you get as your referral progresses through the ranks:
| Modo rank achieved by referral | Stars you receive as a reward |
| Bronze | 1,000 |
| Silver | 3,000 |
| Gold | 5,000 |
| Diamond | 10,000 |
| Cosmic Diamond | 12,000 |
| Black Diamond | 28,000 |
As you'll have noticed, the Modo.us refer-a-friend bonus rewards you with stars each time your friend hits a new level in the Modo Ranks. So, if your friend remains an active member of the site, you can get up to 59,000 Stars as a reward.
A bonus for your friends
Perhaps you weren't expecting this, but your friends do receive a reward through the Modo.us Casino referral bonus as well. Any friend who registers through your link can receive 1,000 Stars as a bonus after they make the optional $20+ GC purchase on the site. So, it's a great deal for both you and your friends.
The Modo.us Stars and how they work
While we briefly discussed the Modo.us Stars earlier, we'll provide additional information on how they work. You see, while most sweepstakes casinos use only Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, Modo.us has a third virtual currency: Stars. Cool, right?
So, what exactly can you use them for? At Modo.us, the Stars give you access to an exclusive store. In this store, you can spend your Stars to make optional GC purchases, or redeem gift cards (100 Stars to 1 SC) if you want.
If you want to make an optional GC purchase, you'll need at least 10,000 Stars in your wallet. You can purchase an optional GC package that rewards you with 1,000 GC for 10,000 Stars, or spend 200,000 Stars to receive 75,000 GC and 20 free SC. There are many other packages, and the precise make-up of these may change over time.

Climb the VIP ranks for more exlusive rewards
The Modo Ranks: A VIP program that affects your referral rewards
VIP programs usually help boost your active bonuses and unlock additional perks on a sweepstakes site. At Modo.us, the VIP level also affects your referral rewards, which is what matters in this guide.
A few months back, Modo.us introduced a Star system to its VIP program. The Star system allows you to receive Stars as an additional reward whenever you play games on the site. So, you're now getting loyalty points to level up, and Stars to spend in the exclusive store.
However, when it comes to referral rewards, your actions don't matter. What matters is what your referrals do. If they're advancing through the Modo Ranks, you'll keep getting rewards. To us, this is a simple yet effective way for Modo.us to ensure it's gaining a lot from each individual you invite to the site before you receive a referral reward.
Don't forget, the referral bonus is just one of the many promotions you can find at Modo.us. To get the best experience, you should also try to claim other
Modo.us bonuses for existing players.
This is a progressive bonus that you can claim when you log in to your Modo.us account for the day. The offer starts at 10,000 GC and 0.1 SC daily, and then increases if you maintain a log-in streak. There is a free bonus wheel spin for a 7-day login streak.
This is a hunt for a daily jackpot on the Modo.us sweepstakes casino. You can join the hunt by playing with your GC or SC, so everyone is welcome to try to claim the bonus. There are specific games on which the bonus will be active, so you need to confirm when you join the event.
Modo.us offers a reasonable mail-in bonus, meaning it's not bad, but it's not perfect. With each request you send, you'll get 3 free SC as a reward.
We've been on the Modo.us Instagram and X pages, and the operator does offer a few promotions there. You'll find giveaways, trivia, and other types of contests, but you must be prepared to compete for a reward if you join.
Conclusion: A top referral bonus with long-term rewards
If all you've been seeing are basic referral bonuses, then you need to check out what Modo.us is offering. Although the referral bonus looks like what you'll find elsewhere, it's one of the few that offers long-term rewards. Instead of an instant fixed bonus, the bonus is spread out, and it often drops when you least expect it. However, your potential reward from this offer relies heavily on how active your referrals are. If your referrals are leaving the site after a few days, you're likely only getting the bare minimum in referral bonuses on the site.
Although this guide provides everything you need to know, we're huge fans of encouraging our readers to get a first-hand experience of the sites we talk about. If you want to learn more about Modo.us or see its referral bonus in action, you can sign up using the banners we provide on this page.
