When you’re trying to find a new sweepstakes casino, it's always a good idea to see who’s behind the platform so you know whether a site is trustworthy. Hence we decided to take a look at the Modo.us ownership team.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through who owns and operates the platform, how they built their reputation, and what other brands are run by the same parent company. We’ll also highlight other trust signals and some key highlights of the site as well as details on how you can get started and play at Modo.us.
Who owns Modo.us?
Modo.us is owned and operated by ARB Gaming LLC. They’re a dedicated division within the larger ARB Interactive company, based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. ARB Gaming LLC is the branch responsible for building and running Modo.us on a day to day basis.
ARB Gaming LLC focuses specifically on the sweepstakes gaming aspect while other arms of the company are largely focused on acquisitions and wider strategies.
A look behind the curtains of ARB Interactive - the parent company of Modo.us
ARB Interactive has established itself as an innovator in consumer technology, and Modo.us is the flagship demonstration of achieving that goal in a sweepstakes casino format. However, ARB Interactive doesn’t run just one operation. A separate division known as ARB Labs exists purely to identify and obtain what it considers to be up and coming consumer technology platforms. It's this sector of the company that's also brought the likes of Wave and Publishers Clearing House into the fold.
It's worth pointing out that the company has run PCH for over 70 years at this point, and its client base lies within the millions. That means they’ve been established many, many years before sweepstakes casinos were even a concept and, if you’re looking at trust signals, having the backing of such a well established parent company definitely boosted our personal ratings for Modo.us.
| Brand | Owning sector | Role in ARB Interactive |
| Modo.us | ARB Gaming LLC | The company’s own dedicated sweepstakes casino, that features casino-style games and operates across several US states |
| Publishers Clearing House (PCH) | ARB Labs | A well established brand that sells magazines and merchandise whilst also running sweepstakes prize draws |
| Wave | ARB Labs | A rewards platform that’s tied to technology |
Wave and PCH don’t work in the same way as a sweepstakes casino such as Modo.us does, as they’re different types of products entirely. But what they do is represent a reputable company that has a long history of running prize-based platforms successfully, which reflects on the overall trustability and security of Modo.us.

How ARB Interactive’s ownership affects Modo.us
Saying Modo.us is well backed by its parent company is one thing, but there is much more to the platform that initially meets the eye. For a start, being affiliated with a highly reputable parent company builds trust. Any new player considering joining the site can rest assured that their personal and financial data is stored and transferred safely and that they’re not joining an unregulated scam site. ARB Interactive is clearly named in the terms of use on the Modo.us website and the company information is easily verifiable online.
🎮 Enjoy a well-curated gaming portfolio put together by experts
The clearest place in which you can really see the effects of running under a large parent company is the brand’s games lobby. Modo.us features over 1,000+ titles from well known studios such as Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, and Red Tiger. It's clear to see that a lot of industry knowledge as well as the necessary budget has gone into crafting these partnerships and building such a strong lineup of games. Modo.us’ portfolio spans slots, table games, and a dedicated live dealer section. All games are certified for their fairness and audited regularly to ensure that there is no manipulation and all outcomes are truly random.
🔒 Safer gaming thanks to enhanced security features
ARB Interactive also ensures that players can enjoy a safe and fully regulated gaming experience at Modo.us. As such, there are numerous verification checks in place to ensure only eligible players are allowed to join and play. From verifying your email and mobile phone number to submitting identification documents for full KYC checks, Modo.us work entirely above the board and in line with relevant sweepstakes regulations. Further, the site uses modern SSL encryption to protect your personal data and you’ll have access to a range of responsible gaming tools to help keep your experience on the site enjoyable.
📱 Gaming on the go with a native app for iOS
There is a dedicated
Modo.us app
for iOS users which can be downloaded from the Apple Apps Store. We don’t see native apps all too often, partially due to the fact that it takes time and money to develop them. We’d like to think that ARB Interactive has done well in helping Modo.us establish their brand beyond just desktop accessibility. Android users aren’t fully left out either as the website is fully optimized for use on mobile browsers, though we’d like to see a dedicated app developed here in the future, too.

How virtual currencies work at Modo.us
Unlike the sweepstakes prize draws you’ll find at PCH, Modo.us works slightly differently in this regard. You’re not entering free prize draws per se, instead you’ll be using free virtual currencies to play any of the available games on the site.
The first of these virtual currencies is called Gold Coins (GC). They are used to play games for fun and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for anything. Although you do have the option of purchasing additional GC bundles if you want.
The second virtual currency is called Sweeps Coins (SC) and you’ll be using them to play games in promotional mode for a chance to redeem eligible SC for prizes. To request a
Modo.us redemption
you will need to play through your SC at least once, hold at least 20 SC for a gift card redemption and 50 SC for a cash prize. You’ll also need to complete the brand’s KYC checks in full.
