Fliff just recently rolled out a new product, Superstars, bringing real-money peer-to-peer Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) into the mix. That said, access is still limited, and not every US DFS fan can use it for real-money pick’em contests just yet.
In this Fliff Superstars review, we’re spilling the tea on how it operates, where it's legal, and its available promotions. We also look at the sports you can make picks on and the app's user experience. Plus, we’ll touch on the banking options, customer service, and website usability. Stick around for more information on Fliff Superstars.
Fliff Superstars is different from the regular Fliff social sportsbook because it runs real-money, peer-to-peer DFS contests. To jump in on the action, you’ll need to fund your account with real USD before placing any entries.
Once funded, you pick a roster of athletes and go head-to-head against other bettors during live sporting events. For each athlete, you decide whether they’ll go over or under a listed statistical projection. Every projection has a multiplier attached, which reflects how likely that outcome is.
Each entry must include at least two players from two different teams. After setting your entry fee, you’ll choose between Max Play or Flex Play. Max Play requires all picks to win for a payout, while Flex play still pays even if one selection loses.
After submitting your entry, Fliff Superstars automatically places it into an open contest, where you compete for a share of the guaranteed prize pool (GPP). Your contest score determines how much of that prize pool you receive.
To join Fliff Superstars, you’ll need to be at least 18 and live in a state where the product is available. Right now, Fliff Superstars is open to DFS fans located in the following states:
If you’re 18+ and physically reside in one of these states, you’re good to go and can sign up without any issues.
Fliff Superstars skips the usual no-deposit bonus welcome bonus, but there’s still something in store for you when you sign up. When we signed up, we found a 25% deposit bonus worth up to $100 in Superstars Cash. This offer applies only to your first deposit after registering.
Outside the welcome offer, here are a few other promotions we came across. No Fliff Superstars promo code needed:
Every 24 hours, you can claim $1 and use it to make picks without spending your money at Fliff Superstars. Once you log in, a pop-up prompts you to claim it, and the funds are added straight to your balance.
During our review, Fliff Superstars was running a limited-time offer for the NFL divisional round. This promotion was giving up to $50 in free play for placing up to $100 in NFL entries during the divisional round weekend.
Fliff Superstars also rewards you for inviting friends using your unique referral link. For each referral, you’ll receive experience points (XP) up to 10,000 per friend. You’ll get 200 XP for every $1 your referral deposits, which are redeemable for Superstars Cash, gift cards, and other available rewards.
Fliff Superstars doesn’t currently have a traditional tiered loyalty program. However, its “Rewards” section still lets you grab XP, which you can cash in for gift cards and Superstars Cash. We could also redeem them for Fliff Coins to use on the regular Fliff social sportsbook.
From our experience, most of that XP comes from referrals, making sports predictions, and completing daily challenges.
We were so bummed to learn that Fliff Superstars' P2P pick’em contests aren’t available on its website. The website is mainly for information and to answer common questions. A dedicated web app would definitely bump up Fliff Superstars' ratings in the USA.
From our experience, plenty of DFS players still prefer using a browser to save phone storage. Since Fliff already offers a web app for its social sportsbook product, there’s a high probability that Superstars could follow down the line. If that happens, we’ll be sure to update this review.
Regardless, the site is easy to get around and offers a clutter-free layout. Everything is neatly organized, so finding what you need doesn’t take long. The footer includes quick links to relevant pages, such as the terms of use, help center, responsible social gaming, privacy policy, and fantasy sports rules. Pages also load fast and are free of lag.
As noted in other Fliff Superstars reviews, this DFS product is designed for mobile play. You can download the app directly from the Fliff website or via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We installed it on an iPhone 16 and completed sign-up in under 5 minutes.
The app feels familiar if you’ve used the regular Fliff social sportsbook app, though it swaps the usual blue theme for purple. Your balance sits at the top-right, sports categories appear in a horizontal menu, and projections load just below alongside a search option. There’s also a bottom menu that gives quick access to Superstars, My Picks, Account, Rewards, and Deposits.
The main lobby shows available athletes with their over/under contest multipliers. We put the app to the test, comparing it to the social sportsbook, and we were impressed. Placing entries is easy and seamless: just tap your players, set your entry fee, choose a contest mode, and you’re done. You’ll also see the minimum potential prize payout before confirming your entry slip.
We liked the real-time stat tracking and live leaderboard updates, which make it easy to follow your entries. From our testing and other Fliff Superstar reviews, the app is responsive on both iOS and Android devices. Plus, it's simple to use and reliable for making picks on the go.
Now let’s talk sports offerings. Fliff Superstars sticks to the big US sports leagues most DFS fans care about. You can make sports picks across the following categories:
The projections span familiar stats like points, assists, goals, rebounds, home runs, passing yards, and longest pass. You’re free to mix and match these projections when building your entries, depending on the sport and matchup you’re targeting.
Another thing that spiked our Fliff Superstars ratings is the range of payment options. We usually roll with credit/debit cards, but Fliff Superstars also supports instant deposits via ACH bank transfers and Apple Pay.
Deposits range from $5 to $1,000. You can also fund your wallet with XP and your redeemable Fliff Cash from the social sportsbook product. However, not all of its eligible states allow redeeming Fliff Cash for Superstars contests.
For withdrawals, Fliff Superstars offers ACH bank transfers and Skrill, with cashouts starting from $50. Any bonus funds come with playthrough requirements before you can withdraw. Its website also hints that more payment methods will be added down the line.
Heads up, though, before making deposits or withdrawals, you’ll need to complete KYC verification. Verification includes submitting a government-issued ID and your SSN. If you’ve already verified your account on the Fliff social sportsbook, you won’t need to repeat the process on Superstars.
At Fliff Superstars, there are several ways to get help, including email, live chat, and a help center. Live chat starts with an AI bot, and you’ll need to share your account details before being connected to a real agent.
From our experience, that usually takes a few minutes, but the replies are quick and helpful once you’re through. If you prefer the email route, responses typically come back within 24 hours. However, you can skip the wait by checking out its help center, which is loaded with detailed guides that explain how everything works. We checked there first and found answers to most of our questions.
You can access all support options through both the website and the app by heading to the “Contact us” section.
Of course, Fliff Superstars is a legit DFS brand operated by Fliff Inc. and is legally available in 11 states. It holds the required DFS licenses in those states, so there’s no reason to worry about a Fliff Superstars scam. From what we’ve seen, the brand is kept in check by the appropriate gaming authorities where it operates.
For security, Fliff Superstars uses modern encryption technology to keep your data and transactions under lock and key. You can log in to the app using Face ID or fingerprint authentication. Plus, there’s also the option to turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for extra peace of mind.
All things considered, Fliff Superstars is secure and reliable for DFS fans, as it checks all our boxes. It fits naturally within the Fliff ecosystem and will appeal to players who enjoy DFS-style pick’em contests with real stakes. Currently, you can only access it through its mobile app, which performs seamlessly across all devices.
Plus, you get a bonus upon your first deposit and a daily bonus of $1 every 24 hours. There are also special promotions during sporting events, such as the NFL Divisional Round Weekend. You can use these bonuses or your real cash to place entries on popular US leagues like the NFL and NBA.
Though it’s limited to certain states, and there’s no loyalty program yet, you’d still get a premium DFS experience. If it's available where you live, it’s totally worth checking out. Interested in Fliff Superstars? Click our on-page banners to sign up today.
