Guess what? Betano is coming to the UK – and the brand’s big British launch is imminent. So, I decided to put together a Betano review to give you guys a bit of info on what to expect.
Internationally, Betano has been going since 2012 and currently operates in 11 different countries. The brand offers sports and esports betting odds, as well as casino games – but are they any good? And is there anything special or different about Betano’s UK launch specifically? Well, yes and yes. Here’s why.
When writing my Betano reviews, my first port-of-call was the brand’s UK website, which contains the full details and T&Cs for their UK sports welcome bonus.
If you are a new player and based in the UK, there is a new sports welcome offer:
Bet £10 Get £30.
This welcome offer is available only for New Customers in the UK who opt in, make a deposit, and place a £10 bet (minimum odds 1/1+) on any football game, within 3 days of signing up.
Join Betano and you will get your bonus as 3x£10 Free Bets for set football markets. The bonus is valid for 14 days.
Players must be 18+, terms & conditions apply. Please gamble responsibly. GambleAware.org.
Betano’s standard platform is incredibly fun to use. It opts for cheeky emoji icons to represent specific sports and leagues, offers one-click buttons to take you to the “Slots” page and other sub-categories, and everything’s nicely set off by a classy, orange-and-black theme.
You can’t, but you can “register your interest” in the brand’s launch by filling out your details on their UK site – which of course will set you up to receive your bonus activation email.
App-wise, you’ll find Betano’s standard app available on both the App Store and Google Play. It boasts excellent customer ratings on both, and functionality-wise, is almost identical to the website, but with slightly more minimalistic menus.
Both apps are powered by Kaizen Gaming International, though these guys recently partnered with the BVGroup ahead of Betano UK’s launch, meaning many are anticipating some cool new features might be thrown into the mix for UK bettors. Lucky us, eh?
I’ve penned a Betano review or two for bettors in other regions in the past, and I’ve found that there isn’t a massive level of consistency between which payment options are offered where.
VISA and MasterCard usually make the cut, as does bank transfer and a few e-wallets like Skrill, PayPal and Paysafecard. You’ll need to check what options are offered locally once the brand’s UK launch hits, but I’d guess you’ll get a similar mix of options. If so, expect deposits to be processed instantly across the board, and withdrawals to take approx. three working days max.
Check out Betano’s ratings on Apple’s App Store or Google Play, and you’ll see that internationally, players seem to be super-impressed by the Betano platform; the brand’s customer service frequently mentioned as one of the main reasons why.
In my own experiences, I’ve found that Betano doesn’t offer 24/7 support in most regions, but they do offer plenty of support options, including:
| Support option | Typical response times |
|---|---|
| Live chat | 1-hour-or-less. |
| 72-hours-or-less. | |
| Telephone hotlines (in some regions) | Dependent on region |
Of course, it’s unclear which of the above will be extended to the brand’s UK site, but either way, I’d say it’s safe to assume Brits will be able to benefit from similarly decent response times.
Globally, Betano is one of the best-trusted brands in the biz. They’re licensed by the GLL in Germany, the NRA in Bulgaria and even hold an iGaming license for Ontario, Canada.
Of course, my Betano ratings for the UK can reveal the brand’s now good-to-go in England, Scotland, and Wales to boot. They also utilise top-tier SSL encryption to protect their players’ data.
In other regions, Betano offers a neat “Missions” feature whereby bettors like yourselves can unlock free bets and other bonuses by placing specific bets on temporarily promoted sports events. “Super Odds” on trending sports tournaments are rotated frequently, too.
I’m hopeful Brits will get access to the same perks. Though who knows, perhaps the brand will spruce things up a bit as part of their new partnership with BVGroup – who offer a pretty epic loyalty programme through their other betting brand, BetVictor, right now.
Betano’s international site offers access to more than 500 different sports betting markets annually, and I’ve no reason to suspect Betano UK will be any different.
For bettors in the Czech Republic, Germany and Bulgaria, basketball takes centre stage right now.
Of course, it’s reasonable to expect competitive odds on tennis, volleyball, ice hockey, baseball and more, too – all of which are present and correct in other Betano regions.
Globally, Betano’s slots-filled casino site has gained quite a reputation for itself, too, offering state-of-the-art games from 16 high-end software providers.
I suspect the same NetEnt, Playtech and Pragmatic slots will be offered to UK players – hopefully alongside the Evolution Gaming-powered live dealer titles that German and Peruvian players are currently enjoying here.
Internationally, Betano offers 2,400+ slots games - which is a lot. Will the UK get them all? Fingers crossed, eh?
With a brand this widely-loved and used worldwide, I’m sure there are big things coming your way, and I for one am crazy-excited. My advice? If you’re feeling keen, register your interest ahead of time to ensure you’ll get that £30 free bet bonus.
Betano uses SSL encryption to protect player data. The site also boasts impressive bettor reviews on the Google Play and App Stores. I’ve played there myself many a time, and can confirm Betano’s 100% legit.
I’ve found that, internationally, Betano’s odds are at their most competitive on basketball games, with football and baseball not far behind. Keep an eye out for their “Super Odds” promotions.
Nope. On the contrary, it’s an eCOGRA-approved, international iGaming platform that’s trusted by bettors in 11 different countries – and it’s coming to the UK very, very soon.
