The news is out – licensed sports betting will take off in KY from September. A bunch of operators have confirmed they’ll go live in the state from Sept. 28, but when will Caesars be legal in Kentucky?
For now, the operator remains off limits to Kentuckians. But with several of Caesars’ closest competitors already unveiling pre-launch bonuses in the state, some commentators believe Caesars will rush to catch up very soon.
In a word, no – you can’t. Right now, there aren’t actually any online sports betting options in the state. That said, the state officially launched retail sports betting on Sept. 7, 2023 – so they’re not far away.
A handful of popular operators, like Bet365, for example, are rumoured to be piecing together pre-launch bonuses ahead of Sept. 28, the date online betting will go live. This has sparked suspicion that a Caesars launch bonus for Kentucky could also be on the cards someday soon, possibly even before Sept. 28. Competition is king, so we’d agree this is likely.
Nope. Not right now. But the Caesars sportsbook app and website are legally available in several other US states – with a KY site hotly anticipated to be just over the horizon. We hope. Anyhow, here are some of the great features you can expect from Caesars if (or when?) it goes live in KY:
A competitive welcome bonus | A launch bonus is of course yet to be confirmed, but we reckon one will soon emerge. In other states, free bets are super-common, anyway… |
An intuitive smartphone app | Caesars offers both iOS and Android apps. |
Tons of payment options | PayPal, PayNearMe, e-Check, credit and debit card are all supported in current Caesars-friendly states. |
In-play and live bets | These are famed Caesars features elsewhere – so expect them in KY, too. |
Excellent odds | Competitive odds across the board will likely be on offer, as they are elsewhere. |
No online sportsbook is 100% perfect, but Caesars’ offering in other states does come pretty close. Here’s a quick roundup of their service:
Unfortunately, not just yet – though we’re as hopeful as you are that this will change soon. And of course, we’ll keep our ears to the ground, and keep you posted. For now, you can browse reviews of other operators that might be going live in Kentucky soon across our site.
