    Heather doesn’t ever stop talking. I’m serious. While this is good if you want to know about betting online, it’s not so good if you’re trying to concentrate on something else.

    I was born and raised in Queens in a sports-crazy family. Growing up in Queens, I had no option but to spend much of my childhood watching the Mets, and I also did a lot of sports at high school.

    Sadly I didn’t make the cut when it came to turning pro, and so I concentrated on journalism instead. I started writing sports reports at college and from here gravitated to writing freelance online. This coincided with the time that sports betting was starting to get legalized in some states and I covered these developments for a bunch of different blogs.

    This meant that I was totally ready when legal sports betting came to New York. Since then I’ve spent a lot of time writing about the merits of the different online sportsbooks and am more than happy to sift through the promo terms and conditions to find the best deals. After all, even if the Giants and Jets aren’t playing great, you should still be able to get a decent betting promo.

    I should also mention the fact that I’ll be writing a lot of casino guides here.     It depends. If it’s something I know about, then about 50 wpm. But if I’m answering questions like these, then about five words per minute.
