Should you place a Yankee bet?
Placing a Yankee is a great way to bet on horse racing or greyhound racing events, especially if you're unsure which stallion will likely win. This bet covers all possible combinations of your four selections. Unlike a traditional parlay bet where you lose your entire bet if one leg fails, this one will offer a payout as long as you get two selections right. So it bends the
rules of sports betting

You should be aware that placing a Yankee costs more than a traditional bet. You'd need to stake on each of the 11 bets. So, if you were to stake $3 on every combination, you'll spend a total of $33 in wagering. That way, each Yankee bet variation is covered.
Are there any drawbacks to Yankee betting?
For starters, the large bet may be a disadvantage for low rollers, although high rollers will have a different opinion. A second drawback is that each bet on a Yankee has the same stake value. If you choose to place a $1 for one, you must place $1 for all. As such, you can't place a higher wager on a double or treble you think has better odds of winning.
What is an each-way Yankee?
The each-way Yankee typically means that all bets have two distinct forecasts — a win bet and a place bet. So, instead of your ticket featuring 11 wagers, it'll have 22 different bets. The stake on each-way Yankees is double the amount tied to normal Yankees.

Super Yankee and Lucky 15: How they differ from the Yankee betting system
Also known as the Canadian bet, Super Yankees are similar to standard Yankee bets. However, there's one major difference. Rather than players backing four selections (as with the Yankees), Canadian bets/Super Yankees require bettors to wager on five different selections.
