Sporting the new hero power “Ghoul Charge”, the Death Knight aims to send out waves of undead minions to wipe out the competition. In fact, “Undead” is now an official minion type that can be combined with previous minion types to give certain cards double identity.
The new hero class has unique play patterns thanks to its additional resource called “Corpse”. As friendly minions die, Corpses pile up to help cast cards later in the game. Along with the new passive resource, Death Knight’s have deck building restrictions thanks to a new mechanic called “Runes”. A DK deck can have a certain number of Runes that allow it to contain different cards, based on the cards Rune requirement.
Players can get access to all the newest cards when March of the Lich King his the servers on December 6. Make sure to pack a big coat, it’s gonna get chilly in the tavern.
