Road to the Championship
Those in attendance at the HCT Summer Championship all had to finish in the top 4 in their respective region’s qualifier. In order to qualify for the qualifier, each player needed a certain amount of HCT Points.
Such HCT Points come from monthly ladder finishes, high place finishes at HCT tour stops and finishes in last year’s Hearthstone Championship Tour. Then, Swiss-style tournaments decided the qualifying players for the summer season championship.
Out of over 280 players from each region, 16 get to compete in Burbank. So don’t forget to root for your favorite players starting June 28th.
