Microsoft and Marvel collaborate with an Xbox Series X based on Thor: Love and Thunder. To celebrate the release of the MCU’s Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel and Microsoft have collaborated to create a Custom Xbox Series X. The exclusive Xbox Series X Thor Edition will be via sweepstakes through Twitter.
Microsoft released rendered images to show how the console will look. While advertised to come with a handle and leather strap, it’s unclear whether it will legitimately be a part of the package. There is no information stating the handle is removable or isn’t actually a part of the package. It’s safe to assume it is otherwise. There are currently no photos of the console in person.
The console alongside the PS5 considered by some; too big compared to the last generation. The Xbox Series X is already quite tall and wide as is. However as the handle sticks out from the back, it might not be as intuitive for most users.
The limited-edition console will also come with a controller that fits the same theme. However, there are no images of the controller accompanying the bundle. In order to win the Mjölnir-themed Xbox Series X, participants should check out the page dedicated to the sweepstakes.
The only requirement to enter is to follow Xbox on Twitter and retweet the post with the promotion and include the hashtag #ThorLoveandThunderXboxSweepstakes. The sweepstakes started on Jul. 1 and will end on Jul. 21.
Anyone who lives in an Xbox-supported country and is at least 18 years old is eligible to participate. The majority of countries can participate. The regions excluded are the South East Asia region. Other countries currently can’t participate. This is due to a variety of reasons such as the laws regarding sweepstakes, or other undisclosed reasons.
Other requirements include having an active and open Twitter account. Private Twitter accounts will not be eligible to participate.
There will be only one winner at the end of the sweepstakes. However, in the case of the winner not being eligible or can’t be contacted another will be chosen.
