Wo Long places players during the Three Kingdoms period of China. This is when China was separated into the Wei, Wu, and Shu. Players will follow a lone militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms. With this being a Soulslike game there of course will be swordplay and magic accompanied by bosses of all kinds. There even have been mentions of being able to summon divine and mythical beasts. With that being said, it can be expected that there will be a variety of combat tactics and options within the title.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty launches for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, on March 3, 2023. Some good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, the title will be available for free at no additional charge.
