Having made his way into the movies in Tobey Macquire’s Spiderman 2, alongside debuting in his own standalone films, Venom stands as one of Spiderman’s most iconic villains. And with the recent gameplay reveal, many may be wondering ‘Will Venom be in Insomniac’s Spiderman 2?’ Here’s what we know thus far.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – Gameplay Reveal | PS5 Games
As of now, there’s no official news regarding Venom. But his debut in Insomniac’s Spiderman 2 is very likely. For the past couple of decades, the Symbiote has been directly associated with Venom. The two very much go hand in hand, as it is truly only a matter of time before Peter Parker realizes the dangers of the alien substance.
In the comics, television shows, and movies, once Spiderman decides to get rid of the Symbiote, it then attaches onto another host — which will inevitably become Venom. Of course, this remains purely speculation as of now. But any Spidey fan knows that Venom’s debut in Insomniac’s Spiderman 2 is truly inevitable.
Considering the Marvel cinematic universe hasn’t done Venom justice quite yet, Insomniac’s potrayal of Venom will surely be a greatly appreciated rendition of the popular villain. The developers and marketing team probably just don’t want to spoil Venom’s incredible debut through trailers, hence the lack of an official reveal thus far.
