A new 2.5D action adventure is coming your way in Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus. This game sees you fight enemies throughout Japanese folklore while trying to figure out your origin. As of now it does not look like Bō Path of the Teal Lotus will be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
This is a bit of a disappointment mainly due to the fact that it will be releasing on PC and Xbox Series X/S already. For many, these smaller titles could use the boost from being on a Game Pass of some type and missing out on the biggest one is a shame. There is a chance it could be added in the future but that seems unlikely unless the game does very well. While it feels like it could, the bar is set pretty high to be added not as a day one drop.
The Bō Path of the Teal Lotus Release Date will be on July 17, 2024.
This game has been known about for some time but only recently did we learn of the official release date. Many players have been wishlisting this game on Steam as it looks beautiful and like an enjoyable game for its genre. It could be considering a Metrodivania as well so if that is your preferred genre of game then you should give this one a look.
The Bō Path of the Teal Lotus gameplay will be very similar to many action-adventure platformers.
You will see yourself as the main character traversing maps and defeating bad guys. The unique spin is the Japanese folklore and story for your character. This game was originally a Kickstarter that raised nearly $175,000. The hope will be that all the backing and more will allow for developers, Squid Shock Studios, to really take off with this release.
