Even while still in Early Access, the hit military FPS WARDOGS is becoming a breakout hit, peaking at over 428,000 players since its September 10 launch. Despite its growing popularity, the game remains an Early Access title and is currently priced at $39.99. However, as development progresses, the studio promised gamers that as the title continues to grow, WARDOGS will increase its price. Here’s what we currently know about the title’s pricing plan, including when players can expect it to change.
As mentioned previously, WARDOGS is currently available on Steam priced at $39.99. According to Joe Brammer, CEO of BULKHEAD, the title will use scaling pricing. This means that once the game has enough content, WARDOGS’s price will increase. The price will increase from $39.99 to $49.99. Although WARDOGS Season 2 is coming in October, the price increase isn’t expected until September 2027. This gives gamers at least 12 months to buy the game at a lower price if they’re interested. Expected in 2028, the game will raise its price once more to $59.99, as it is expected to keep growing with more content.

WARDOGS is currently in early access, following its Season 1 launch on September 10 this year. Brammer previously stated online that Season 1 of WARDOGS would last 1 month. That said, WARDOGS Season 2 is expected to launch October 15, 2026. Seasons 3 and 4 don’t have a definite timeline, with developing new content and features as BULKHEAD’s priority.
“It’s going to change in Early Access; season 1 is a month, but then season 2, 3, 4 could be whatever we decide. Developing new content and features is the priority.” – CEO Joe Bramer
