When Is The XDefiant Open Beta Release Date?

After a very successful Closed Beta session with over one million players, Ubisoft gave news of an upcoming XDefiant Open Beta release date.

As announced during the Ubisoft Forward showcase XDefiant will launch an open beta from June 21 to June 23 beginning at 10 AM PT/7 PM CEST on Wednesday, June 21 to 11 PM PT Friday, June 23rd / 8 AM CEST Saturday, June 24.

This Open Session will be launching for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. To sign up gamers must go to PlayXDefiant.com. Once on the site click register and create/link a Ubisoft account. If selected Ubisoft will send an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to access the Open Beta if selected.

If any gamer previously has participated in the Closed Beta that was held back in April as a reward they can log in a day early to participate in a special Early Access phase of the Open Session starting on June 20.

“We received a lot of great feedback from our players after the end of our Closed Beta,” stated creative director Safy Saada, “and for the Open Session, we’ll likely see some new faction balancing (particularly for Libertad) based on player feedback, as well as weapon balancing based on data we’ve collected from the Closed Beta.”

As of right now, XDefiant will have a total of 4 seasons during its first-year launch. Here’s what’s taking place during the next 4 seasons:

Season 1 – Codename Ruby

• 3 new weapons
• 3 new maps
• 90 Tiers Battle Pass

Season 2 – Codename Buzz

• 3 new weapons
• 3 new maps
• 90 Tiers Battle Pass

Season 3 – Codename Orchard

• 3 new weapons
• 3 new maps
• 90 Tiers Battle Pass

Season 4 – Codename Horde

• 3 new weapons
• 3 new maps
• 90 Tiers Battle Pass
