It’s been 22 years too long, and now the wait is almost over. Kirby Air Riders is the newest installment in the Kirby Air Ride Series. Air Rider promises fast-paced races with a variety of moves, items, and techniques. Here’s everything you should know before the Kirby Air Riders release date.

Kirby Air Riders Features

Kirby Air Riders officially launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 20th for $69.99. While it would be nice for Kirby Air Riders to be on the Switch 1, that sadly won’t be the case. Here’s everything that comes included with its $70 price tag.

City Trial

Explore Skyah in City Trial, a free-for-all battle for 16 players online or 8 players locally via wireless. Around the city are items that help with upgrading machines’ stats.  You can battle opponents to claim power-ups and participate in field events. Field events can include boss battles, falling meteors, and more. For those who want a greater challenge, try your luck at the stadium.

Road Trip

Road trip mode acts as the Kirby Air Riders story mode. It’s a series of single-player challenges where each progression uncovers more of the story.

Initial Roster

• Kirby –  A light and floaty friend to all. This well-balanced hero has no clear weakness.
• King Dedede – A heavyweight rider who rules the raceway. Hits hard with his powerful hammer.
• Meta Knight – A shadowy defender who slashes rivals with his sword and slices through the air on dark wings.
• Bandana Waddle Dee – A sturdy rider who builds boost charge quickly. His trusty spear stings rivals like a hornet!
• Knuckle Joe – A fierce fighter who jabs at riders that come too close. Charge up fully for a flurry of punches.
• Cappy – The mushroom cap doubles as a protective cushion. Race ahead of rovals before it falls apart.
• Star Man – Excels at airborne. Jump for a burst of speed and soar right over your rivals.
• Magolor – A Sly Spellcaster who accelerates a lot after Star Slides. Attack rivals ahead of you with perfect landings.
• Susie – A smug, shiny entrepreneur. Deploy a propeller to take off and float gently through the air
