The Game Awards is that time of year when gamers not only reflect on the titles released throughout the year but also vote for their favorites to win certain nominations. The Game Awards will commence on December 7 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. There will be a total of 31 categories for the nominees. Those categories are:
As always, it’s the Game Of The Year category that brings the most traction. This year’s nominations consist of Baldur’s Gate 3, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Resident Evil 4, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In 2022 the competitors were Elden Ring, God Of War Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Stray, and A Plague Tale: Requiem. In the end, Elden Ring ended up taking home the win.
