One of the better RPGs to come out in the last decade was Horizon Zero Dawn. A tale that sees humanity going back to the age of the dinosaurs but still having electricity and the dinosaurs are also robots. It is an incredibly unique concept and one that did so well it allowed for a sequel to be made. Horizon Forbidden West saw Aloy and her crew head west this time and many PlayStation 5 owners loved the game. Now those who own PCs are wondering, when is Horizon Forbidden West Coming to PC?

The answer to when is Horizon Forbidden West Coming to PC has finally been answered. Or at least, it sort of has been answered. Steam was updated on the HFW page and a new video showed that it would be coming to PC sometime in Early 2024.
This is a much faster turnaround than for Horizon Zero Dawn. The original game was released at the end of February, 2017. The PC release date was over three years later in August of 2020.
With this release date, it will likely be around the two-year anniversary of the original release for the game. February 2024, makes a lot of sense and should make PC players very happy to be getting a solid RPG release at the start of the year.
There likely will not be a lot of changes if any. The game and story itself will stay the same. There may be some graphical changes to allow for it to work better on PC but other than that, it would be a surprise to get many other changes.
The quicker release on PC shows that PlayStation understands that the game will continue to do well on the platform. PlayStation is notorious for making PC players wait to play their exclusive games. It makes sense as they are the main selling point for their console. That being said, this release could start to signify what could happen with the third installment.
There likely will be a third Horizon game. Not to spoil anything but it will be interesting to see where the story could go from here. Players are surely chomping at the bit to see Aloy in action again.
