What to do with Free Loadout Augments in Arc Raiders

For new players, the Free Loadout Augment is your best friend in Arc Raiders. It allows you to make cost-free runs and get some loot in your Stash early on. But the Free Loadout Augment has another valuable use case? Let’s take a look.

You should be trading in your Free Loadout Augments, not selling them

What to do with Free Loadout Augments in Arc Raiders

Free Loadout Augments will move to your Stash after you come back safely from a run while using one. Once you have one in your Stash, head over to Lance and look to trade in this Free Loadout Augment for one of the three Uncommon Augments available.

You can trade in a Free Loadout Augment for one of the following:

  • Combat Mk. 1
  • Tactical Mk. 1
  • Looting Mk. 1

Especially early on, this is a fantastic way to get the Augments needed to guarantee a Safe Pocket and increase your Inventory space. But, the more you play, the more you will start to yearn for additional Inventory space and a Safe Pocket.

As you scale more and more into the game, you’ll likely stop using Free Loadouts altogether, but they are essential early on. If you are to this point and have several of the Free Loadout Augments sitting in your Stash, it’s perfectly fine to sell them!
