High on Life is one of the last good games to grace 2022. From creator Justin Roiland, of Rick and Morty, the game follows a bounty hunter character that is transported from Earth to save Earth. Oh, and there are talking weapons, one, in particular, that sounds like Morty. As with Justin Roiland projects, there are random moments with pop culture references that seem obscure to most. High on Life is no different. In this game there are four feature-length movies that fans can watch at different times throughout the game. Here is the answer to, What Movies are in High on Life?
[Related: High On Life All Gun Mod Locations]
According to most, there are four different movies that players are able to watch. Some are able to be watched in their entirety, others seem to be cutoff at different points. These movies also have random posters on the wall in the main character’s house, which is being occupied by a former alien bounty hunter. Truly, he is more squatting than occupying.
Regardless, he is watching “human” movies and has different things to say about them. These random movies are not major blockbusters but most include future stars in them like Denise Richards and Paul Walker.
Below is a list of the four movies in chronological order of when they were released.
Vampire Hookers (1978)
Blood Harvest (1987)
Demon Wind (1990)
Tammy and the T-Rex (1994)
All of these movies are certainly weird choices. They are all B-films or lower-rated films that never necessarily did well in the Box Office. Two of them are comedies, of sorts, and the other two are comedic more in the sense of being bad horror films.
To say they are films that most people will actively ignore might be an understatement. But, that seems to be the point. They are weird and fit in with much of the theme and time period of the game.
