This is just a few weeks after the one-year anniversary of Starfield. Many had been waiting for years for the next major Bethesda IP. While the game was mostly well-received, there were plenty of issues with it. As updates continued to come out the game started to perform better and many started to hope for more. lucky for them, they are getting it with this major story expansion. It will be worth wtching to see if this is going to be the last expansion or only just the beginning of the Starfield expanded universe.

The better question would be whether or not you will have to purchase it. While you will be able to get it with the Ultimate Pass, there is a chance you may have to buy it with other lower-tier passes. Truthfully, we will not know for sure until the game comes out or if they announce it sometime right before the release. Either way, Starfield is available on Game Pass now and if players hurry, they can get through the main storyline just in time for the Shattered Space release.

The biggest differences will be the new locations, spacesuits and weapons that are being added into the game. Considering this is mainly a story expansion, this amount of new content should not come as a surprise.
