After much speculation, the Star Wars Galactic Racer Release Date, October 6, 2026.
This will come nearly 25 years after the last Star Wars racing game, Star Wars Racer Revenge, released back in February of 2002. Most people remember the original game that came out on the Nintendo 64, Star Wars Episode 1: Racer back in 1999. This was in conjunction with the release of Star Wars Episode 1.
The original is still considered to be one of the defining games for Star Wars. It brought some characters to life that you barely saw in the movies and even some new ones that had never been seen before.

This had to be one of the biggest questions coming into this game.
With new vehicles being shown off, ones that people may come to love in the future, there were concerns that Pod Racers might be left behind. Luckily, at the end of the initial release trailer, we could hear the iconic sounds of a Pod Racer and Sebulba as well.
Next, we were shown footage of Sebulba and Ben Quadinaros’ Pods racing on Tatooine. This shows that we will at least be able to race some of the older Pods on the original map from Episode 1. Beyond that, it is still in question.
We see the Boonta Track as mentioned on Tatooine.
Beyond that, it looks like the very start of the most recent trailer, shows the planet base off the Himalayas, Ando Prime. Other than that, we are still unsure of where some of the maps will be.
