A new Sonic is on its way and not only is it paying homage to the original Sonic but Shadow is also coming along. It is certainly excited for Sonic fans and will show some of the newer fans how great the older games felt. With that, players are probably wanting to have some questions answered. The Sonic x Shadow Generations Release Date will be on October 25, 2024.
That being said, you can pre order the game and play it a few days earlier on October 22, 2024. More and more games are doing this. Especially with the way release schedules are for game. If a game is released on Tuesday then it comes out on Friday for early access or visa-versa. It is certainly interesting to see a Sonic game following that trend but here we are in today’s gaming environment.
As of writing this article, it does not look as though Sonic x Shadow Generations will be on Xbox Game Pass.
It certainly could be added in the future, but that may be some time away. Mainly due to the fact that it would need to sell well or be a part of some sort of Sega deal. that being said, it is available on Xbox consoles so that could be enough for it to make the jump at another time.
The Sonic x Shadow Generations gameplay is certainly going to have fans both old and new interested.
This is because it will see players in both new and older games. They will be able to not only play as older version of Sonic but even on older levels of previous games in the franchise. It is interesting how it ties into the story, that won’t be spoiled here, but it is absolutely worth looking into if you are a fan of the Sonic series.
