Right before the official kick-off of the holiday season, Sony has just announced the newest models of the PlayStation 5. Say hello to the PlayStation 5 New Console, The PS5 Slim with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive, and let’s not forget the PS5 Digital Edition.
Compared to the previous models the new PS5 Slim is reduced in volume by more than 30%, and weight by 18% and 24%. If gamers decide to only settle for the PS5 Digital Edition, the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive feature will be sold separately for an additional $80. There will also be a horizontal stand will be included. The new PlayStation 5 model will begin to roll out in November.
